Energy is needed for the evolution of all forms of life on Earth. Energy can be obtained from different sources. Management of natural resources refers to the plan of action that is related to renewable and non-renewable sources of energy. Natural resources such as water, soil, land, plants, and animals are immensely affected by industrial expansion, overpopulation, and global warming as a whole. There is a vital need to manage natural resources. This is done to ensure that a balance is maintained in the ecosystem, to avoid the further deterioration of the environment and the surroundings, and to avoid the overconsumption of the natural resources we have.
Waste management mainly follows the 3R's which include Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
- Reduce involves minimising the amount of waste that is generated by efficiently purchasing only the essential things.
- Reuse involves using the products again and again.
- Recycling involves the use of used products for some creative purposes by making them into a new product through a series of processes and remanufacturing. .
