Here are a few tricks to memorize maths table easily and quickly:
- Only whole numbers are used in maths tables.
- There will be consecutive even numbers in the table of 2 (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20…)
- The last digits of the table of 5 will either be 0 or 5.
- The last digits of the table of 9 will have all the consecutive whole numbers (9 – 0) in reverse order and digits from 1 to 9, at its tens place (9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90)
- If 6 is multiplied to even numbers, the resulting number will have the same digit at its unit place. (6 x 2 = 12, 6 x 4 = 24, 6 x 6 = 36)
- For the table of 10, put 0 after the number to which 10 is multiplied.
