    NEET MDS 2020 Admit Card has been released on December 13, 2019. Candidates can download their NEET MDS Admit Card 2020 in online mode from the official website – by logging in with their NEET MDS Registration Number and Password/ Date of Birth. 

    • Candidates have to carry their admit card along with an original photo ID proof and its copy.
    • Photograph should be attached after taking out a print-out of the admit card 
    • The exam date, address of allotted NEET MDS Exam Center and course applied for will be mentioned on the admit card. 
    • Candidates should contact the exam conducting authority, in case of any discrepancy found in the admit card details.
    • NEET MDS 2020 will be conducted by National Board of Examination on December 20, 2019. NEET MDS (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Masters in Dental Surgery) is conducted once every year to provide admission to Post-graduate courses such as Doctor of Medicine, Master of Science and Post-Graduation Diploma Courses.

    NEET MDS 2020 Registration began on October 11, 2019. The registration was closed on October 31, 2019. Applicants who successfully submitted their applications can download the admit card from the official website from December 13, 2019.

    How to Download NEET MDS 2020 Admit Card?

    After the successful registration and online application for NEET MDS 2020 examination, applicants will receive a computer-generated acknowledgement via email.  

    Steps to Download NEED MDS 2020 Admit Card:

    1. Applicants should read through the acknowledgment email.
    2. After the successful online registration, applicants will be navigated to download the admit cards.
    3. Candidates may also receive the direct link to download the admit cards.
    4. On receiving the admit card, candidates should check all the details and verify them.
    5. Admit card should be printed and affixed with a recent color passport sized photograph on the mentioned column on the admit card.

    The photograph should be of specific format and should be matched to the applicant’s appearance. Here are the specifications in detail:

    • The size of the photograph should be a minimum of 35x45 mm.
    • The passport photograph should be taken in a white or light background.
    • Photograph should display full face and head of the applicant. The expression must be neutral.
    • Photograph should be at least 600 dpi resolution and printed on high quality paper.
    • The picture should be free of damage.

    Details on NEET MDS 2020 Admit Card

    NEET MDS 2020 Admit Card will display applicant’s information such as:

    • Candidate’s full name
    • Father’s Name
    • Application number
    • Category
    • Program selected
    • Centre number
    • Date and Time of the exam
    • Venue of the examination
    • Exam Time Schedule Subject wise or Paper wise whichever is applicable.

    Candidates should affix a recent passport sized photograph on the admit cards. Also, candidates must carry identity document with them to the exam.

    Documents Required with NEET MDS 2020 Admit Card

    Applicants should carry one original and valid photo identity card for verification on the day of the examination.

    • Print of Admit card with photograph of the applicant on it
    • Photocopy of Permanent and Provisional SDC/DCI registration
    • Applicants can carry any one identity proof of the listed ones below:

    Photo identification should match with the name displayed on the admit card. If the name has been changed due to marriage, proper proof of that should be showed at the time of exam.

    Discrepancy in NEET MDS 2020 Admit Card

    All the information on NEET MDS 2020 Admit Card should be checked by the applicants. Applicants should make sure that the photograph they will affix is damage free. In a case of any discrepancies are noticed by the applicants in the admit cards, the NBE should be contacted at the earliest.
    Applicants can email NBE with admit card discrepancy on Their email support will be available from the date of online applications to the closing date of online application only. The query emails will be responded in three days. Applicants should send email only once; multiple emails will lead to delay in response.

    NEET MDS Exam Day Instructions

    Candidates may note that the reporting time refers ti the time at which the candidate arrives at the reporting counter situated at the test centre. Candidate should reach the reporting counter at least 2 hours prior to the commencement of the exam i.e. at 12 pm. Reporting counter will close 30 minutes before the start of the exam, The following actions shall take place at the reporting counter: 

    • ID Verification: The original documents mentioned above will be checked. All candidates will be frisked by the security guards as it is a mandatory part of the security protocol. 
    • Capture of left thumb prints: left thumb prints of all candidates shall be captured electronically and candidates are requested to cooperate with the on duty staff with this process. 
    • Capturing of digital image: As a security measure, digital image of the reporting candidate shall be captured and taken on record. 
    • Test centre invigilator / on duty staff shall guide the candidate to the assigned work station. 
    • Candidates will not be allowed entry to the test centre after 1:30 pm. 
    • Candidates are also advised to check the requirement for mandatory documents on testing day and comply with the same. 

    Candidates will not be allowed to take the following items inside the examination center under any circumstances. All the candidates will be subjected to compulsory frisking before entering the examination center: 

    • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, plastic pouch, calculator, pen, writing pad, pen drives, eraser etc. 
    • Any electronic device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, wrist watch/ health band, calculator, electronic pen / scanner etc. 
    • All ornaments like bracelets, ring, earrings, nose-pin, chain / necklace, pendants, necklace with pendants, bagde, brooch etc. 
    • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc. 
    • Any eatable item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottle etc. 
    • Any other item which could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like wireless/bluetooth device, spy cameras etc. 

    Test Day Procedures 

    After verification of identity and biometrics, candidates will be taken to their allocated computer terminal and the invigilator will check in with the candidate. 

    • Candidates are required to keep their admit card and photo identification at all times during the conduct of examination. 
    • Candidates are required to listen to the invigilator’s instructions to begin the test. 
    • No rough paper for any rough work shall be provided at the center. 
    • Each workstation will be blocked on three sides – front, left and right. Candidates are advised not to look around at other candidate(s) as there are surveillance cameras cameras that record video. 
    • Any suspicious or disruptive behaviour on part of the candidate may lead to cancellation of candidature. 
    • For any issues during the test, candidate may raise his/her hand to notify invigilator 
    • In case of any disruption, rest assured that a registered candidate will get to test again within the testing/ examination window.

    Frequently Asked Questions 

    Ques. When can I download the NEET MDS 2020 admit card? 

    Ans. Admit card can be downloaded from December 13, 2019 onwards. Candidates are required to download their admit card from the website and affix their latest passport size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. Admit card will not be sent to the candidate by post. 

    Ques. What time do I have to report for the NEET MDS 2020 Examination? 

    Ans.  Candidate should arrive at the reporting counter at least two hours before the commencement of exam i.e. 12 pm. This allows for security checks, identity verification, image capture, biometric capture etc. The reporting counter will close 30 minutes prior to the exam start time.

    Ques. Can I keep my valuables/ items anywhere at the centre? 

    Ans. No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any article / items belonging to the candidates. In case any candidate is found in possession of any of the barred items inside the centre, it will be considered as use of unfair means and action will be taken against the candidate in accordance with the relevant provisions. 

    To avoid any hardship, candidates are advised not to bring such items along with them at the test centre.  

    Ques. Will rough paper be provided with the examination? 

    Ans. No rough paper for any rough work will be provided at the center. 

    Ques. What is the eligibility criteria to sit in NEET MDS 2020? 

    Ans. The basic eligibility for application for NEET MDS 2020 is: 

    • A recognized Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery 
    • Completion of 12 months compulsory rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020. 
    • Permanent / provisional registration certificate issued by Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC) 

    Eligibility Criteria for All India 50% Quota Seats 

    • Candidates who have studied / passed BDS from Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible for 50% All India Quota seats. 
    • Candidates who were nominated by the Government of India to do BDS in J&K shall be eligible to apply for admission. 

    Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals 

    There is no compulsory mandate for foreign nationals to be registered with the DI at the time of NEET MDS conduction. In the case of foreign nationals, the following procedure is to be complied with: 

    • The council may, after fee payment, offer temporary registration for the duration of post graduate training restricted to the dental college / institution. 

    Ques. My seat is not available in the test center that I prefer. What should i do? 

    Ans. Allotment of test center / venue in the selected city shall be done by NBE. 

    • If a seat is not available in the state that the candidate wishes to partake the exam in, the candidate may select the OTHERS option from the list of states at the time of selection of the state during online submission of application. 
    • Candidates who have complications in their test center allotments will be notified the final details by November 20, 2019. Candidates will be informed regarding their test venue in the chosen city approximately 7 days before the examination day. 

    Ques. What are the examination timings for NEET MDS 2020? 

    Ans. NEET MDS 2020 shall be held on a single day and single session only. Allocation of time for NEET MDS shall be as follows: 

    Activities Session (2:00 pm – 5:00 pm);
    Allow candidates to enter the examination centre and commence biometric registration 12:00 pm;
    Entry closes at Examination Centre 1:30 pm;
