TSICET 2018 Application Form- Register before April 30

TSICET Application Form 2018 has been released by Kakatiya University. The last date to register is April 30. Candidates with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree can apply at the official website i.e. The application fee is INR 650 (INR 450 for reserved category candidates).

Candidates who register successfully will appear for TSICET 2018 on May 23 & 24. Nearly 80,000 candidates apply for the exam each year, to save one of the 28,174 seats available in MBA/MCA courses offered by the colleges of Telangana state. 

1. For the first time, TSICET 2018 will be conducted ONLINE in three sessions. Two sessions are scheduled for May 23 and one session will be conducted on May 24.
2. Also, in a first, the test would be conducted in Urdu medium for one session.
3. Candidates can appear for the official mock test after completion of registration.

TSICET 2018 Eligibility

Applicants are advised to check TSICET eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. They must ensure that they are qualified to write the state-level entrance test for postgraduate courses.  The eligibility criteria for TSICET (MBA and MCA) is stated below:

TSICET Eligibility for MBA (Master of Business Administration)

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years duration from any recognized university/board.
  • They should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation.
  • For reserved candidates from SC, ST, PWD category, it should be 45%.
  • For aspirants who have completed their Graduation through distance mode, should have a graduation certificate from Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE & DEC only.

TSICET Eligibility for MCA (Master of Computer Application)

  • Aspirants should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years duration from a recognized university/board with Maths subject at 10+2.
  • A minimum of 50% aggregate is required in Graduation.
  • For reserved candidates (SC, ST, and PWD), the aggregate should be 45%.
  • People who completed the Graduation through distance mode should have the graduation certificate from Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE & DEC only.

*Please note that candidates in their final year of Graduation/Degree are eligible to apply for TSICET 2018 examination.

How to fill TSICET Application Form?

TSICET Application Form is available now. Candidates have to visit the official website to register themselves and fill the online application. The application process for TSICET involves 4 main steps viz.

Step 1- Registration

  1. Visit the official website of TSICET
  2. Click on the ‘Apply Online’
  3. ‘Registration Fee Payment Procedure’ page will appear on the screen
  4. After completing the registration procedure, a transaction ID will be generated which can be used for logging into the user account.

Step 2- Payment of Application Fees

  • TSICET 2018 application form fee had to be paid in advance through online mode only.
  • Application Fees varies category-wise. The general category candidates must pay an application fee of INR 650. Those from the reserved category have to pay a sum of INR 450 as the application fee.
  • Applications can be submitted after the due date too, but a late fee will be applicable candidates fail to submit the application form within the deadline.
  • Applicants have the option of paying the application fee either through Debit/Credit card/ Net banking or TS Online/AP Online/meeSeva (e-Seva).

Step 3- TSICET Application Form Filling

  • Aspirants can then proceed to fill the application form of TSICET.
  • Before beginning with the form filling process, candidates need to enter the following details: Payment Reference ID, Transaction ID and last qualifying exam admit card number (the last exam taken or appearing in)
  • Once the fee has been paid and an acknowledgment receipt is received, candidates can proceed to fill in their personal and educational details.
  • After completing the form filling process, candidates will be redirected to the process of uploading important documents.

Step 4- Upload Documents

  • Applicants upload a colored passport size photograph along with an image of their signature.
  • The specifications for documents are given below
  1. Photograph Format: jpg/jpeg; Size: less than 30 KB
  2. Signature Format: jpg/jpeg; Size: less than 15 KB
  • After uploading the documents, click on submit.
  • A ‘Confirmation Page’ will appear on your screen.
  • Take a print out to the application form and save for future use. This is how it will look like:

TSICET Application Fee

As mentioned above, TSICET Application Form varies category-wise. The general category candidates must pay an application fee of INR 650. Those from the reserved category have to pay a sum of INR 450 as the application fee. Candidates can choose either of the two options given below to pay fee for TSICET .

Option 1- AP Online / e-Seva/ Mee Seva

  1. Select the preferred Registration Fee payment mode as AP Online / e-Seva/ Mee Seva
  2. This will be followed by ‘Payment Verification’ web page
  3. Fill in the Transaction ID
  4. Click on ‘Proceed to Online Application form filling’ following which the Online TSICET 2017 Application Form will appear on the screen.

Option 2- Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking

  1. Click on the online payment option.
  2. On the ‘Payment Gateway’, select the card type (VISA or MasterCard or Maestro).
  3. Click ‘Make Payment’.
  4. Enter card details such as Card number, Expiry date / From Date, Security Code / CVV number etc.
  5. Click ‘Pay Now’.
  6. Candidates must make sure that during the payment process, they must not click ‘Back / Refresh’ button or close the browser page abruptly. The payment process usually takes a couple of minutes.
  7. The candidate will be directed to the bank Site with the Authentication Page.
  8. On this page, select one of the preferred authentication options: OTP/ IPIN. Enter the details of OTP/ IPIN.
  9. If the OTP/ IPIN is correct, the transaction will be successful.
  10. Next, click on ‘Proceed to Online Application Form Filling’ and fill in the TSICET 2017 Application Form.

Note: Candidates should note that only upon successful submission of the TSICET Application Form, they will be able to download the admit cards. TSICET 2018 admit card will be available from May 7 onwards.

TSICET 2018 Application Form Correction

  • Once the candidate has submitted TSICET Application form, and a preview of the same with the Registration ID is generated, no changes in the application form will be possible thereafter.
  • However, certain fields (except Regional Test Centre) can be edited if a request letter with relevant proof is sent.

TSICET Application Form FAQs

Ques. After submitting the TSICET Application form, how can I find out if it is received and accepted?

Ans. If the application form is successfully submitted, an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number. It will inform the candidate that the application had been successfully submitted. Along with that, a preview of the filled in ‘Online Application Form’ along with the registration ID and barcode will be generated immediately for the candidate to take out a print out and keep as an acknowledgment.

Ques. Do we have to post TSICET Application Form and attachments to the University?

Ans. No, it is not required. The application form is to be filled and submitted online.

Ques. If I misplace my copy of the TSICET Application Form, how can I get another copy?

Ans. A printout of the TSICET 2018 Application Form can be taken from by giving the relevant details.

Ques. I do not have a mobile number and an email id. Can I still fill TSICET Application Form?

Ans. Having a valid mobile number and email id is compulsory. If a candidate does not have the same, he can enter the parent’s/ guardian’s mobile number/ emain id in the Application form. 

Ques. Is the registration fee for the TSICET 2018 refundable?

Ans. No, the application fee once paid, will not be refundable under any circumstances.

Ques. How to retrieve Registration/ Application Number or Password?

Ans. Aspirants will be allotted an application number for TSICET during the registration and application process. This number will be depicted on the confirmation page. Candidates will have to choose a password for their login account. If any individual forgets his password, then the steps involved in retrieving it are given below:

  1. Go to the TSICET applicant’s login page and enter their registered email ID.
  2. Click on ‘Forgot Password’.
  3. Aspirants will be required to enter their date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format used for registration.
  4. Click on ‘Submit’.
  5. They will be redirected to a page where they can regenerate a new password as they wish.


Ques. When will I be informed about the admit card TSICET 2018?

Ans. The TSICET 2018 admit card will be available for download from May 2018.

Ans. Before selecting the Debit / Credit card/ Net Banking payment mode for the Registration fee, the candidate has to be ready with the required mandatory details. After payment, the ONLINE Application form will appear. Fill in all the mandatory details, read the declaration and SUBMIT.
