Entrance Preview

Through IIT JEEE mains i scored just 95. Then in last counselling i got this college. Several other ways to get admission in it are like clear MPPET or score good in 12 and get selected through college level councelling. Admission process is simple no interview and else direct submit your documents and get in it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is modified according to modern needs otherwise cource curriculum is totally based on rgpv guidelines and with modern modifications and demands. Student have to submit research papers,minors and majors projects etc. Course included others fields also like communication enhancement sports quality build up and personality development etc.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college is provide internship for different companies. Industrial Training: These Training are planned for final and prefinal year students. This is done in order to give students an exposure toactual working environment and relate theoritical learning with actual practice on ground,these are some companies which come for providing training and internship Aerocam,BHEL,Bridgestone,BSNL,Caparo Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. CATCedar SupportCrompton Greaves.

Industrial Training for the students guest lecturers from the industryIndustrial Tours and visitslast year placement percentage of finar year batch is 60% overall. special note-in our college there is a rule student who placed in one company cannot sit in another companty placement procedure.

Various college festivals are organised every year. Some of them are: annual function,techfest,national service sceme tour,robotics,national service sheme programthey all are conducte on a big level. All colleges students are invited through passes. Various companies give sponsorship for these functions. In nss our college is among top of all the other colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quiet high of this college while in comparision of all the other colleges of madhya pradesh fee of this college is 85000 per year and 55000 per semester which is high. Beside these managment charges such as training and placement charges,miscalleneous charges,transport,internship etc makes budget very high.

Beside these our university also offer scholarships for meritorius and financially crisis students for getting that scholarship college managment supports a lot to students with details information and guidelines.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is almost about 80/100 i.e 60 girls per 100 boys. Several workshops are conducted on different topics like ethical hacking etc. Sports our college have an 100 acre field for different sports like cricket footbal etc. Every year we participated in inter college level in different sports.

Faculty members are very supportive , opportunity for research, internships
Regular placement help in every year nurturing according to the year planning for students
College provides multiple courses subscriptions for free

Dislikes

Small campus no own sports ground for football and cricket we have to share it with other campus
Canteen can be improved the sitting area and new options in menu
Still very few systems of labs are not working like 1/10

Placement Experience:

Our College works very hard for placement like they initiate new programmes every year for the betterment of the batch so that they can improve their placement every year. They have launched launched D 99 batch P 30 batch arrange so many seminars College to corporate training placement, training company visits and everything the placement is our college works very hard for the students to get them placed anyhow with a very good package.

The campus is lush green AQI is very low.
Good academic content. Most teachers are helpful.
If you are motivated profs are motivated to work with you.

Dislikes

The campus is isolated form the main city.
Hostel timing are early and strict. Hostel closes around 8:30
Some time classes slot booking are not suitable.

Placement Experience:

Placement vary according to the market in the industry. Though oppertunities are provided extending student courses, so students do get a change to apply multiple job postings. Companies like Flipkart, Blackstone came.

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

There is totally outdated syllabus that was not relevant for current or future technologies. No fully functional labs, outdated machines and some machines are not working. There is no regular lab class and if have then you will write the practical file intesd of learning about machines.

Faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful in academics , exam, and projects. Teaching focuses on fundamentals and practical understanding
The campus has good classrooms , labs , library, and sports facilities .The environments is friendly and suitable for learning.
The placement cell is active and provides training for aptitudes, and interviews. The curriculum is relevant and helps builds a strong technical base.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and live projects opportunities can be improved .

The clubs in the college are good. There are specific club for coding , for robotics, for music and dance.
The placement in the college is also good . If you give some efforts then you will get a good placement.
The curriculum and syllabus of the college is up-to-date and industry oriented.

Dislikes

The college did not have its own campus, so currently it regulates from inside MANIT.
The girls to boys ratio is very poor. In my batch there are only 18 girls among 650 students.
The fees of the college is also very high

Placement Experience:

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

Best IIIT in terms of campus life as it has over 150 acres of lush green campus with almost every amenities.
College has been improving its recent cultural status and activities by organizing events like Infotsav- Annual Tech fest. The girls to boys ratio is around 1:5 which is decent.
all faculties are phD holders and highly qualified in their respective domain.

Dislikes

Course curriculum is little bit on a harder side especially grading schemes. Some profs may deliberately give low grades.

For 4 yr courses, on campus placement drive begins in 7th sem and occur in 2phases in 7th and 8th sem. For 5 yr courses, the same in 9th and 10th sem. In 2025, All tech giants like, google(16 selected), oracle(5 selected), microsoft(3 selected), de-shaw(3 selected), groww(10 selected), american express(10 selected), Nutanix (6 selected), amazon (8 selected). Highest domestic was by de-shaw 67 lpa to 3 students. average package of cse was 27lpa , it+mtech 29lpa and it+mba 28 lpa. 214 students were placed out of 224 registered with a perecentage of 95 %.

I really like cleanliness in washroom and also in the college. I really like trees in college.
Faculty was really good and my subject teacher was teaching in a right way.
In this college the boys and girls in the ratio of 3:1.

Dislikes

Uniform is not allow in this college. I have no many clothes to wear day by day.
I don't like college timing. In winter season timing was not good.
Our campus is very small. And college fest is very less in this college.

Placement Experience:

In 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited in this college like Wipro, Cisco, infosys, etc. Highest package in this college is 20 lakhs. Average package is 5 lakhs My plans after getting the degree is getting good job.

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements.
