Remarks
Overall, the four years of college experience has been really good and wholesome. It has created an all round development for me. The academic standards should be improved and the fee structure should be a bit more feasible to make it affordable for the common mass.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really detailed in every sense. There are two sessional exams of 15 marks each, four assignments of 5 marks each and one end sem exam of 50 marks each for each subject in each of the semesters.
Placement Experience
The placements and the job opportunities are quite good, but it could be better. Yes, the college does provide internship during the 8th semester of our course. The stipend is purely based on the organisation in which one is interning in.
College Events
There are quite a lot of events held in our college. There is one technical fest and one cultural fest held in every academic year. There is always an active participation from our college and also from several colleges across the country in these fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is a bit expensive as compared to other private engineering colleges in our country. The tuition fee is quite high. But the hostel fees and the mess fees are quite feasible. The tuition fee structure is a bit expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
Student educational loans are available in our college, which are provided by several government and private banks. There are different loan fee structures which are available. But I haven't availed any.
Campus Life
There are a lot of extracurricular activities happening in our college. There are several clubs which are governed by the students themselves. The labs are quite good as well. A lot of different indoor and outdoor sport activities are also held in our college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is quite good in our college. There are all kinds of hostels available according to the prices. The facilities are good enough. Each hostel has a common TV room where the students can find some kind of entertainment.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of our college is quite strong, as it is a very old and renowned college. The seniors are very helpful and approachable. They are very friendly and if needed they help the juniors to groom in their respective fields.
Admission
We had received a rank based on the performance in the entrance exam. Then we had to choose our streams based on our ranks during counselling. There were three rounds of counselling that took place, and the streams were given according to the ranks of the students.
Faculty
Overall, the faculty of our college is well trained and experienced. They have a good depth of knowledge in their respective fields. Some of the faculty members have doctorates in their fields which help them to mentor the students properly.
