Remarks

Being in Miranda is a proud moment for every moment and not every girl gets a chance to be there. So i think I'm quite lucky to be in that College where i get the exposure of real life college experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is based on ugc framework and the curriculum is very detail oriented as i was in honours course the books have soo much of in-depth knowledge it will help in civil service exams and also in masters preparation.

Internships Opportunities

No our college doesn't provide any internship because only bachelor courses are provided in arts and science so there is no need for internship during graduation time that's why our college don't provide internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes Miranda do have placement cell and is very active but it depends on your choice whether you want to get that type of job or not. I'm doing Gandhi fellowship and thanks to the placement cell of Miranda house who provided information about it.

College Events

5

We have annual fest every year where different colleges participate in various activities like dance and song competition and we call celebrity too in the fest. Guess what I met Neeti Mohan and Sakti Mohan in college fest. Our college also celebrate annual day of the college every year where we have lunch in the college campus we also celebrate independence day and republic day in the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Is is a government college soo the fees is feasible. And we have to pay the fees in annual basis through online mode so it us is not hectic at all. During my time i paid 13200 per year which i don't think is too expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well those students who get good marks or top can apply for scholarship. I don't have much knowledge about it because I didn't get any scholarship from college. Also those students whose father's income is below some amount will get some scholarship.

Campus Life

5

We have NSS society, NCC society, sports society, dance, music, debate, arts, culture, north east societies and they are very active. The girls in sports society are selected through sports quota during admission so they are national level player soo there is a lot to get exposure in Miranda house if you join society.

Hostel Facilities

4

You can google it in Miranda house website we have one of the best hostel in Delhi University campus with beautiful infrastructure and facilities.there are 2 seater and 3 seaters in each room. The environment is very peaceful.

Alumni/Alumna

I didn't have much contact with seniors but still they helped a lot during our 1st and 2nd year of graduation we use to have department society so the whole department act as a whole to run it. Various alumni meet use to happen in college during fest time. And guess what our 2 lecturer were also alumni of our college who taught us.

Exam Structure

The exam is based on cbcs pattern and follow semester pattern soo in every 6 months you have to give an exam and the exam will be conducted in your college itself. The exam is conducted strictly and follows the ugc pattern.

Admission

I registered myself through online portal then during cut off list i came to college and got admitted by verification of my documents and all. I went through step by step process which include registration, document verification fees submission, issuing of id card.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is very open minded and support the students with best resource possible. In our geography section our personal library was built and we use to issue books from department library which was very convenient.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.
