A great place to spend 4 years of your life with a balance between academics and extra curriculars, along with great placement assistance in almost all fields. The best private college for engineering in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is extremely well planned for each degree. Apart from the usual compulsory courses, we have Discipline electives to specialise as well as Open electives to explore areas of study outside the main course.

Placement Experience

Yes, college has a special internship program for students in one semester of the final year. Placements are good with IT placements having a median salary of >18 lacs and non core placements of above 10 lakhs.

College Events

All major festivals basis is the second largest cultural fest in India and sees a footfall of more than 4000. BOSM is the sports fest and witnesses participation from all over India. We have a technical fest named APOGEE.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Becoming expensive by the day due to fee hikes, making it sometimes difficult for a lower middle class student and thereby leading to him taking a loan for education. However, there are scholarship schemes in place.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a Merit cum Need scholarship offered by the institute to students whose family income falls below a certain limit. The amount of scholarship received depends on the grades the student scores each semester.

Alumni/Alumna

Extremely helpful. I got my first job through a referral from a senior. Seniors are active on LinkedIn and our internal alumni facebook group and go out of the way to help you out in terms of invaluable advice.

Admission

The admission to BITS Pilani is through an exam called BITSAT, along the lines of JEE Mains/Advanced. It is a competitive exam which requires 2 years of dedicated preparation (usually along with IIT-JEE).

Very knowledgeable and good research work is being carried out under them. As with every college, not all professors in a particular department would be good in teaching, but all have good credentials nevertheless.

Placement Experience:

Students can sit in campus placements starting from their second last semester.Some phenomenal companies that visited placement last year was BCG , Bain n Co . , Jane Street ,Amazon , Flipkart .Also there are many companies /startups which visit for non tech roles like PM / data (Xpedia) and many more .As for the tech and core roles if you have a CG above 8 you will be sure shot placed . Highest packages go upto 2 crores for quant roles since they are highly paid for .Approximately 81 % of the students get placed , I have personally seen students with a CGPA of even 5 get placed a job of 14 Lakhs per annum .My plans after getting the degree are to work in finance .

My experience in this college is so fantastic

Placement Experience:

Bachelor and master's students are eligible for placement. Almost 78%students got placement in B.A social science and in many courses.the highest salary package is 35 LPA and the average salary package is 15 LPA. Mostly 80% of students got placement. Many local and well-settled companies visited this college. I am preparing csir net Jrf to became a professor and I want to become a professor in this college.

The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
