Remarks

It is a good college if your interest field is awared to you.

Entrance Preview

Gave JEE MAINS and JEE advance exams and scored 1,06,000 rank and opted this college to get my field of interest moreover faculty here is very suppotive and there is a humurous increase in placement numbers and companies like IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Solaris technologies, daffodils etc visit here for campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is perfectly designed by experts from faculty of IITs and NITs and the institute is also funded by imternational World Bank.

Internships Opportunities

Internship and placement is good and well organised by training and placement cell (T&P cell),Uiet Kurukshetra. But there is no provision for on campus internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is a humurous increase in placement numbers and companies like IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Solaris technologies, daffodils etc visit here for campus placements. Average placement is of Rs. 3.75 lacs per annum. Kalindi Rail Nirman, offered Rs.10 lacs per annum to 10 students during on campus placement drive.

College Events

Events like a national level annual fest Excelsior, annual alumni meet Milaap, Tech fests like anusandhan, and 4 different fests fot each department wise are organised every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very feasible due to its state government funding and comes to only around 60,000/- per year(2014-2018) as compared to other private universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

All government scholarship and scholarships for minorities are available to students amnd fee almost becomes free.

Campus Life

3.5

Excellent campus life cons are only like Kurukshetra has no night life, and only a single mall and no such markets like those in delhi besides it is good college to students who live in colleges.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very clean and tidy with free Wi-Fi facility of upto 3mbps average speed hostel charges are only approx 5,000 per semester which is very low.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Not so good alumni network but college has started an annual alumni meet Milaap, which aims at enchancing alumni network and support to the current students.

Exam Structure

It is a chilling out experience for exams there is one semester exam and three sessional exams are held out of which only top 2 are considered per semester.

Faculty

Faculty is highly experienced and experts from their respective fields faculty is supportive and very exposed to various opportunities to help students.

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
