REMARKS
Positive remark on the college is that it is part of panjab University which will help you in further job opportunities and internship. The environment here is peaceful and stressfree so you get opportunities to learn other things also. Negative remark is that you don't get city like environment. The location of the college is far away from shops and bazaar.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
The fee structure of the college is feasible. The hostel is very cheap here whisch is 7000 per semester and the food is best in here. Semester fee for B. E is around 40, 000 and ba. llb and llb it is about 25000 which is great comparing to the other colleges.
PLACEMENT WING
Placements and job opportunities are average. My college do not provide internship but if you had potential you will easily get it in Chandigarh or Delhi. Opportunities are low because hoshiarpur is not a developed city.
ADMISSION
The admission in my institute is based on JEE MAIN exam. I choose this college over others because it is a part of panjab University and I love the peaceful and cultural environment here. The food in my institute is best all over other in india.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
In first year, you will not get hostel because of the few seats available. In second year you will get hostel according to merit, but the PGs here charge 2500 per month and food will br available in College Canteen in about 40 rupees per meal, which is actually very cheap.
ALUMNI
Yes, the alumnI and seniors students are very helpful. You can ask anything from the professors here and lab assistant will help you in every aspect they can. Senious are polite and help in exams and assignment sunmission. They also help in maintaining mental health.
FACULTY
It is central University so the teachers are mostly have their P. hds and assistant are also post graduated and highly qualified. Most of the teachers in my institute are ex faculty of top of the IITs and NITs.
CAMPUS LIFE
We have a football ground where we can play both cricket and football, we have basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis court in here. We have two gym, for boys and girls separately. We have almost 9 societies which includes cultural and technical activities. There is no descrimination in any case, everyone is polite and kind here. The environment of the college is very good.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The exams and labs are not hectic but overall the teachers and students make it chill. There are only some teachers who force us to attend regular classes. You can do anything here you want besides study. The B. E course is well organized and best for further research and studies.
COLLEGE EVENTS
TECHNOVATION is our technical event and AEQUITAS is our cultural fest organised around September and February respectively. In technical event many other colleges participate in hacking, coding, robotics competition. In recent cultural fest, Amrit Maan came here for the singing concert.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
There are actually several scholarship available here, which are Economic weaker sectiy(EWS), state scholarship for punjabI students, Single Parent Scholarship, Merit based scholarship for class toppers, Post metric scholarship for other state students.
