Remarks
The institute has a full- time faculty strength of nearly 200 professors. There are highly qualified professors, many of them being Ph. D. ’s and IITians themselves. Apart from this, there are 500 full- time research scholars. Some of them have even completed their higher studies from universities prestigious across the globe such as Cranfield University, England, University of Florida, University of Southampton etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are very good in every expect, it covers all logical and analytical research that we have done in our whole semester. The papers got checked by experienced faculty and evaluated. And our labs are highly equipped with most advanced technology.
Placement Experience
Institute policy also permits students to spend one full semester (7th Semester of B. Tech. /3rd Semester of M. Tech. ) in industry. This provision is optional for students having more than 8 CGPA. While visiting campus for recruitment, organizations are encouraged to also consider pre- final year students for Summer Internship that can be converted into Pre- Placement Offer.
College Events
Sphinx event marks a 3- day long bonanza of unprecedented TechTalks, Marquee Technical Events, Hackathons, and Pronites which are set to bring any budding technocrat to a stage where they may shine. Many other events are held like sports event, techfest, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
1. Pursing full- time undergradute engineering programme Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Chemical and IT. 2. A candidate receipt of any other financial aid and stipend scholarship from any other source shall not be eligible. 3. Award of scholarship for 2nd year onwards shall be stricly subject to continuous satisfactory perfermance and good conduct.
Campus Life
Department of Mathematics of the Institute also contributed in the mission of making the institute campus green. Faculty and staff members of the Department planted saplings in the department vicinity and took the responsibility of their care.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, alumnI network are very helpful. The AlumnI already employed in reputed organizations in India and abroad help the final year students in their project work and also inform them about the employment opportunities in their respective organizations. The University in turn provides free access to the library and assists budding AlumnI entrepreneurs like you to incubate your technology venture.
Admission
Through jee mains I got rank under 10, 000 and selected in mechanical engineering branch for btech. And then my there were 7 rounds of admission ptocess. So, in the upcoming rounds I select the maximum possible branch I could get by upgrading it and then finally I got electrical engineering branch.
Faculty
The faculties are best and highly qualified. Some have done mtech in IIT's and foreign colleges also. They are highly dedicated to teach and clear every doubts and problems which student face. All faculties have assistant faculty to clear doubts.
