Remarks

Overall the college is really good for study and student life both every single management has their own way of working but I can tell this collge management is much liberal. Students will have enough exposure to their future life.

Entrance Preview

I have taken the JEE and Comet K exams and I was keen to do engineering and got the opportunity to get an entrance to the VTU.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There were almost 64 different subjects need to be completed in 4 years. However, it was totally messed up situation but the same has given us the strength to react in the present work atmosphere.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't get any stipend but as per my knowledge 2 of my friends were getting the merit scholarship. It was quite good at that time i cant tell you the exact amount but it was close to 10K per month.

Placement Experience

2.5

Unfortunately the placement was not so good for 2010 only 2 companies came Infosys and mindtree. Out of 480 students infosys hiered 4 (with a package of 3.5 L/A) and Mindtree hired 6 (with a package of 4.2 L/A) so, I didn't get job in placement, but next year the placement was really good.

College Events

4

Annual day we were actually waiting for this event through the year. It was also called as the college fest day from different departments we used to participate in different events like Dance, Fashion show, Singing, Sports, Mime, Stage act computer games and many more. other than annual day we were also participating on Midnight marathon happens in Bangalore.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was 32000 per year each semester we had to pay 16000 it was not so expensive in regards to other colleges at the same time. For management students it was about 60000 rupees per year but from 2008 onward the college had increased the fee to 125000 per year which is quite expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't get any scholarship but as per my knowledge some of the students were getting scholarship based upon the merit and ranks but I am not sure about the amount.

Campus Life

4

The campus was really good we had a basket ball court and a very big college ground where we used to play cricket , football also hokey the labs were really designed well and the components were really useful. The college team were regularly engaging student in various extra curriculum activities. Overall it was a very nice ambiance.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hotel accommodation was really good there were 2 types of rooms available 2 sharing and 3 sharing at that time we didn't get any internet facilities. Talking about food, it was the worst part of hostel life. After a hundred number of complains to the college management still the food was horrible.

Alumni/Alumna

We still meet outside the college and once in a year we will take out time to gather and do party we still go to our college fest and meet new students as well as faculties. Many of our seniors are now working as faculties in the same college so now it is totally a mixed up feelings.

Exam Structure

There were total 8 semesters in 4 years each semester were divided into 4 exams 3 internal and 1 external.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties were very nice (except 1 or 2 :P) they were very friendly and most of them were highly talented. They made us understand the concept in a very dramatic as well as practical way it was cleared to us like a picture.

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
