Remarks

Debating culture is the main remark about our college. College has been working for the good Academics and for our faculty. There is good management working in the college for the welfare of students and teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Delhi University is providing a Hons Degree. In 3 Years we will be having 6 semesters (2 sem each). For the Political Science we will be having 4 subjects (Sometimes it may varied according to the course and semesters). The college curriculum is far better than the other colleges in the country. It provides many seminars and other academic related programme in and out of the country. If we have an good Academics we will be getting a good placements in many of the popular companies.

Placement Experience

4

There are placement cells working in our college. Now I only in 2nd semster. So I don't have much information about it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. It may varied according to each college and course. We are paying 17, 100 for our course/annum. The fee for our course should be pay thourough Online mode after the completion of admission. There is no additional charges other than this. For Hostel we have to pay another. But only few students will be getting the Hostel. It is also feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships for students. But in this year I didn't applied for any of them. So I don't know much about it.

Campus Life

5

The campus life in Hindu College is wordless. We get different exposure. The college is good in Academics and college life. There will be many events and programmes which are helpful to us. I think there is more girls than boys. There are many societies working in the college which are headed by students. The societies in the college gives a different experience in our college life. The college is a ragging free campus. So the seniors are so friendly. There is no open politics in the college. The college is maintained by the Parliament which is headed by Prime Minister. More than saying all these things all have to come and experience this college life.

Hostel Facilities

3

I didn't opt for the hostel. The hostel fee is: Rs 67000 (boys) Rs 100000 (girls) Only few seats are there for hostel. 5 for each department. There are many PG for girls and boys outside the campus. The minimum amount is Rs 9000/month.

Alumni/Alumna

They are so helpful. Because of their kind heart we are able to get into this college. The admission process is a little complicated one. Seniors will be there with us for every needs.

Admission

I opt this course because, I like to opt International Relation in my PG and by (Hons) Degree in Political Science, it will help me in the Civil Service exams also. Hindu College is one of the most Popular and 2nd Ranked College in India and this college is working under the University of Delhi. By studying here we get an different exposure and a life experience. I prefer this College to each and everyone who need a good Academics and a college life.

Faculty

4.5

There will be lecturers as well as the tutorials in the colleges. In a month there will be 60 lecturers (Approx). We have a good faculty and the our Political Science Faculty is one of the best faculty in the Delhi University. Our Professors are so friendly and they are always there for us. Many professors are Permanent and they are seniors most one. The lucturers of our faculty are more helpful to us, because it deals with many current and past issues. So we get a chance for a better debate and discussion in our classes.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting
