Remarks

It is very good college for all the students who were not able to qualify for iit and nit, and the fee structure is very feasible, and placements are also great. All kind of students can get all round development if they desire.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

IIITM curriculum is designed in a manner to make effective use of information technology knowledge in business processes. We follow an interactive learning process and encourage innovative ideas from students. Candidates pursuing 5-year IPG course are exposed to NGO training after fourth semester. A 12-week summer intern-ship, an integral part of this institute's curriculum, helps students in establishing an interface with current generation industries. ABV-IIITM curriculum provides the necessary industrial exposure to its students which is essential for their grooming. As our programs are an effort in synchronising information technology trends with current generation business processes it is vital to offer the correct ambiance for our students. With an opportunity to interact with leading industries, learners of this institute get exposure to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. Peer-to-peer interaction is a crucial effort of this institute in its learning processes. Flexibility of study programs is another distinct advantage our learners enjoy. "The best thing about the course curriculum is that most of the non-core subjects are taught only in the first semester. From the second semester onwards almost all the subjects are core subjects besides one or two non-core subjects. The subjects in the curriculum are quite relevant. The subjects which was taught here were all Industry and Research relevant. So, there are two semester in one year odd and even respectively. In each semester there are two minor examination, two lab examination and one major examination. Minor examination is of 1 hr and lab exam is of 2 hr and major exam is of 2 hr. Sometime the day was hectic, Otherwise it was chilled.

Placement Experience

5

The placement covers almost 90% of the crowd and even the highest package includes students of 20 lakhs/ annum. The internship is provided to almost all the good companies. The only requirement is that you should qualify.

Initiated in 2001 this is one of the more successful endeavours of this institute. Cultural Events Cultural Activities and Events ABV-IIITM encourages its students to participate in cultural events and activities with equal enthusiasm as academics.Music, Arts and Dramatics club of this institute also organizes events of smaller scale throughout the year for inspiring talents of this institute. Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is also very feasible. The fee per year is almost 1 lakh, and also we have to pay bus fees. And this fee structure is very good and feasible according to the facilities. Even fee waiver is included for certain students and topper.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided to topper. Even the university topper is awarded with chancellor scholarship which includes cash prize and certification. The college also offers some perks in fees wavier for students who had excellent marks in 12 th.

Campus Life

4.5

Extracurricular activities include sports, dance class, french learning, and also music lessons. All these are organised by the college for the all round development of the students. And even it is compulsory for everyone to atleast get enrolled in one of the following courses.

Hostel Facilities

4

It was good. Even new hostel for girls was opened, which had separate floor according to the year of study. The food their was also great. All other facilities and security of the hostel was very nice.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors were very helpful. If you get in touch with someone really worth it, you can easily make a good career with his/ her help. The simple fact is that if you desire then you can, and at that time you get the resources too.

Admission

I applied on mp online counseling, and then college was allotted to me according to my marks, then I came to take admission. As I was quite interested in computer science and programming I choose CSE.

Faculty

4

All the facilities are very good. Some of them are PhD holders. For maths the faculty is very talented, and also solves the doubt very nicely. Some other subjects also develop great interest, after you start exploring.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
