Remarks

The college is very good. I like my college from every aspect, be it academics or extra curricular activities. The only thing it needs to improve is the infrastructure and the crowd. The crowd is full of jatt and gujjars which makes the environment awful.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The exam structure is pretty general. We have eight semesters and 46 subjects. The days are hectic. We have eight hrs of classes and have little time for sports and other activities. The college is like a school in some activities.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement and internship opportunities are good. Average stipend is 10, 000. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, EY and many more reputed companies come for placement. Average placement is 3-4 lacs per annum.

College Events

4.5

The college holds department and society fests all over the year. It starts with the Fresher's talent hunt 'Exploranza' and ends with the college fest 'Aaghaz'. We see participation from the students of almost all the colleges of the DU.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. Not more than 15000 per annum inclusive of all the fees. As it comes under the DU, which is a central government University, the college fees is very minimal and affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

No idea about it. Maybe it's available but I don't have any idea about it. I guess the National Students Loan is available for the students but I haven't availed any of that till now. Also, I have heard people talking about it. So maybe, there's some facility

Campus Life

2

As I have already mentioned before, the college has fests round the year. There are about 10 cultural societies along with 10 more other societies. There is an amazing chance to explore all the extra curricular activities in the college itself.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No hostel facility. People generally stay in PGs and flats. In my case, I stay in a PG in Amar Colony. The rent of my PG is 8000 rupees including food. The distance from my PG to the college is very less.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes some of them are helpul and motivating. Some seniors bring their hr managers for placement to the college and they provide us opportunities. We involve more in sports and that helped us develop a good understanding and network.

Admission

First of all, the DU will release it's cut off lists of all the 90 colleges under it. Then you have to tally your marks with the cut off percentages of all the colleges and see which college you are eligible to take admission in. Then you have to visit the college with your ID proof, 10th board certificate, 12th board mark sheet, your birth certificate and other documents as demanded by the university to take admission.

Faculty

5

Very supportive and friendly faculty. One of the best faculties in my course. They are always available for doubt clearing classes. Class discussions are truly fantastic. Students who are poor in studies can easily score good marks as half of the things are discussed in the class along with notes.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and well-structured. It covers core subjects in detail along with modern industry-oriented topics. The balance between theory and practical learning is good, which helps students build strong concepts and job-ready skills for the future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being brutally honest I don't think that the course contributes a lot to our preparation for the real world but it teaches us very new things which I like. The course might not be very helpful in our real life preparation or the preparation for the real world but at the same time it enhances our knowledge and teachers as about various new things so I am satisfied with my course and whatever the curriculum includes I like it

Course Curriculum Overview:

In term of relevance I'll say that there are many topics which should not be taught as they are way too old and contradicting in modern times. New tumes problems and solutions should be taught in replace focusing on present.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are generally placed with an average package of 7-8 lakhs for management programs. Companies including the big 4 like EY, KPMG, Deloitte and other reputed companies have visited and many offers have been made. Around 60% of the students get placed in management branch. After getting the degree, I am also planning to appear in the placement opportunities.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting
