Remarks

College management is pretty good. If I have to write a bad remark it would be about fees and placement of non cs and non circuitial branches.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is completely industry specific.There are minute changes every year and few major changes every 4 year. We have 2 sessionals of 15 marks each and 4 assignments of 5 marks and then end semester exam of 50 marks. There are credit assigned for all labs and subjects.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario are pretty good. Some of the big giants recruiting are Microsoft, Amazon, CISCO, Goldman,Reliance Industries. I got the the internship vin reliance industries. General steps of recruitment is OT, then 2-3 rounds of technical interview of selected students from OT then hr interview.

College Events

There are many technical and cultural events in college. The main technical event is Tech Tatva held in every odd semester and main cultural event is Revels held in every even semester. There are a lot of students participating in both these events. Then we have Ted talks in which major personality are called to give a talk.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is quite high. My program fee is 11.56 lakh for four years.There is no additional fees charged to secure admission.Fees has to be paid on yearly basis.the mode of payment for first year was either through draft or through cheque but from second year onwards it is all online through debit card or net banking.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I have not opted for any scholarships or loans but aicte scholarship is available and loans are available for needy students.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is pretty good compared to other colleges.we have a lot of workshops on technical and non technical topics. Student diversity is pretty good. Students from all over the country are present in college.There is no discrimination on basis of religion, caste, sex,political orientation. There are a lot of sports activities going on through out the year. There is sports complex named Marena. It has almost all the sports facilities.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I have opted for hostel. Its name is block 10. My room no. 4236.it is a single common room. There are sharing rooms also available. Rooms are pretty clean and bathrooms are cleaned on daily basis.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are very much helpful in academic as well as non academic activities. Our alumni base is very strong. I always talk to them whenever I need help of any kind. I don't have any bad experience with any seniors all are very helpful.

Admission

I gave an online entrance test named MUOET. The test was of moderate difficulty. Everyone got the result just after the test. We had 2 more attempts to increase the marks. After few days counseling dates were declared.I went to Manipal jaipur for counselling everything was very smooth. Help desk people were very helpful.

Faculty

The faculty are good.All of them are post graduate. Number of lectures depends on number of credits for that subject. 3 credit subject has 3 classes per week and 4 credit subjects have 4 classes per week. Per week there are 2 different labs.All the teachers have relevant industry experience.

Mit Manipal Ground REALITY

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Dislikes

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. So it is tough as engineering seats in MIT Manipal maybe high but competition to be in top 1000-1200 means competing with nearly 100k students....Read More

MIT manipal - a complete review(hostel, nightlife, fees, academics)

I chose this college because this was the best option I had among others that I got accepted into. Comparing to others, MIT has much lesser intake and a much better campus life. I made it into all the private colleges that I applied to, but not colleges like NIT and IIT Other colleges I got accepeted into are BITS, VIT, CET, LPU, Thapar. I didnt choose BITS because of the higher fees.
