Remarks :

I got this college through ComedK entrance exam. I already had heard about this college from seniors that it's not bad college. Admission process is very easy here you just need to come and fill the admission form and need to submit relevant documents related to your studies. Although this college is average, I choose this due to its affordable fee structure. While other colleges at this criteria in Banglore like city ia much costly. Before admitting here, I surfed many websites for the college review. I came to Collegedunia also and got relevant and exact reviews about my college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As of now I am a 3rd year student from computer science. I always had a dream to be a software engineer so I choose this course. Besides this Technology always fascinated me. College classes are well structured with 1:60 teacher to students ratio. We have separate sections each containing around 60 students. Class is combined for boys and girls. Talking about faculty members, maximum of them are young age energetic teachers who always helps us in our studies as well as extra curricular activities. HOD of our department do selection of teachers on the basis of their eligible qualifications and their teaching skill. Internal and external exams are held at decided time. As per vtu guidelines, we have 3 internals along with lab internal. All these are completed one month prior to the semester exam so that we get sufficient time to revise all topics perfectly. For students who are active in their classes will pass their exam easily. Here teachers give us assignments to do.

Placement Experience :

Placement is the most important part of a engineering student life. Our college has dedicated placement department at the centre of college which always encouraged us. Students can apply for placements from 7th semester. Cisco, Infosys, sonata, accenture, mindtree, tcs, hudl are top companies to visit our campus. According to placement officer companies make adequate number of offers here. Highest package is 7 LPA, lowest id 2.2 lpa and average id 3.5 lpa. Role offered ate sports data analysis, software engineer. Maximus final year students got placed from last two years around 65%. As I entered into 3rd year of engineering, I am also planning to have placement sessions provided by college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I told fee is affordable for you for engineering like course. I used to pay 78k per year for college fees. While for hostel I pay 65k per year. It has increased by some thousands from last year as I talked to juniors. I actually didn't come to know any general scholarships here as of now. But there is some minority community scholarship which you can apply in cet office here.

Campus Life :

I am really enjoying the campus life here. Different fest are organised every year along with regional ceremonies. Ganesh puja, ethnic day, tech fest etc are regularly held. Last year college organised open day for the first time and we really enjoyed that. Students from different colleges and schools came to show their invention and projects. Tech fest is organised in the middle of October which includes quiz contest, blind coding and many more. Our library is quite large and situated in cse building only. It's provided with adequate numbers of syllabus books, research papers, notes by faculty members, computers, magazines along with daily newspaper in regional as well as English language. Classrooms are provided with bench and desks, fan for us. We don't have ac classrooms nor projector based classes. Teachers teach us at green board with chalk. Other than fest, no other activities happens at that pace. We do have clubs for environmental concern and insta id as sambhraminstitute .

Hostel Facilities :

We have three hostels in which girls hostel is inside the premise whereas two boys hostels are out of campus. The Boys hostel B1 is near the college whipe B2 is quite far. College bus is provided for them. We are given spacious rooms with 3 beds for each room. Their is no fear of ragging by seniors. We also share rooms with seniors and used to call them Bhaia. Our rooms are cleaned on daily basis. Their is large dining hall at ground floor where we have meals and dinner. Hall is fully equipped with chairs and tables. We do have food menu for whole week including 3 days nonveg. Registration process for hostel is very easy. Their is a separate counter at the accounts department only for hostels. Students also prefer to resides on rents and pg. A lot of room owners near college provide rooms for students.

There is some company that offers jobs for students of our colleges but not for all branches. Mechanical placement is very rare.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It's a good course. It focuses on both theoretical and practical learning and makes students efficient. I don't know about the research programs. I think it's going on.
