Course Curriculum Overview

The course was a mixture of theoretical lectures while several practical subjects which were conducted by the faculty in the labs. Also, our course was 4-year on campus, therefore, there were a total of 8 eight university exams and internals for every subject in between the semester followed by course assignments.

Placement Experience

4

For the students at the university, the placement opportunities were on a moderate level and can be also called decent as the chances to get a job was appropriate ones. But, I heard the interviews were not easy to crack.

College Events

4

The university staff organized several events like teachers' day, students day, national festivals, exclusive seminars on trending academic topics where our university dean gave lectures to motivate students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per my view, the fee structure was very feasible as I have to pay a total of 71,865 for four years according to the semester wise exams. I paid every semester after when that particular semester starts. The first-year fees were 21,415 while for the last year it was 15,270. For the second and third year, the amount was the same 17,590 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I know that the university is giving the options of scholarships to selective students only. The list of eligibility criteria is long and I have seen only a few students availing it at the campus. On the other hand, students with an unstable economic background and the students from reserved categories availed of the scholarships from the university.

Campus Life

The center of extracurricular activities at the university is the lab as there are several labs including the computer and engineering section labs. Students do several activities in the labs and apart from it, the university every year organizes project fair for the final year students where everyone participates to showcase their project work.

Admission

In this government university, I got admission as I had above 60% in the higher secondary education curriculum and I was a resident of Tamil Nadu. The basic admission criteria were a common entrance test conducted by the university. But, for the Bachelor of Technology steam, the admission was given based on scores of previous education that is merit-based admission with an online registration followed by offline document submission, and at last, there was university-based counseling.

Faculty

4

I had mixed experiences about the faculties at the university as every faculty are above the up to the mark but some were friendly while several were quite strict. I had to change my way of speaking according to the faculty I meet during the lectures and doubt sessions. However, every faculty was highly qualified.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
