Best 4 years of my life.

No college has a perfect management system neither was ours. So overall if I had to rate our system if would be 6/10.

I gave AIEEE. I chose btech in computer science because I had the passion for computer and learning new technologies. When i was in 3rd Standard i got my ist PC. The very first game that I played was pinball. I was super excited and knowing nothing about computer at that time I was just amazed ag what I could do with ms paint etc. Then when I got older, I was 7th standard when I learned C++ in my school. From then and there I decided I will pursue computers as my majors. In my interview I was asked basic question on favourite subject.

In my first year of college I basically had loads of subject. The curriculum was tight packed from 9-5 usually with the boring stuff. From 3rd year we had only computer related subjects such as algorithms, cryptography, java, jsp. Databases etc.

I never went to any internship rather I Learned new technologies in my vacations. I learned core java in my ist year and android in 2nd year. In my 3rd year i got my training in oracle sql. 4th year was i made an automation system for home.

Placement are good in our college. I got placed in my ist attempt. I am currently working in wipro as a project engineer. Around 95% students were placed during our placement drives. Companies such as wipro, ford, igate, capegemini, virtusa etc were there.

There were many technical and cultural events such as ALF, ayf, sanchaar etc. We also had sports event known as sangathan. Ayf was the biggest event in our university. Students from all around India participated. Alf was introduced 2 years back.

It was expensive. 1.3 lakh per year for academic fees. Hostel fees was 45k for one year. And every year some percentage of the amount was increased. We had to pay using a demand draft in favour of the university.

Loans were available. My room mate had his student loan. He had applied it from sbi bank. Loan had to be applied from the bank. Documents required were the noc form, colleges approval that the student is studying in our college.

Around 1:2 ratio was there in our college. 1 being a girl and 2 being a boy. Sports event like sangathan was there. Our college also had foreign students.

Hostel were nice. But food were not upto the mark. Hostel facilities included a shared room with wifi.

Our college seniors were crying when they were leaving the college, and I'll be honest Because i was also crying. We knew that we wont be having this kind of moment again.

There were mid terms and end terms exams. End terms were quite hectic. One year was divided into 2 semester. Even and odd sem. Mid terms were in sep and mar. End terms were in dec and may.

Faculty in our university were awesome not because they were highly qualified but because they were really very helpful. They were always there for us and we never disrespected them.
