Remarks

I liked the campus from what I saw online and also liked the student life which i read online from the past students. I also found out that the college had a strong aluminus. The campus was big and it encouraged lot of extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

All of the above mentioned are good. Syllabus is up to date with recent practical knowledge given. Industrial exposure is not upto mark. All the faculties have doctorates and well informed. They give all the support required.

Lots of big companies recruit from our college. Some of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs.

Extracurricular activities are supported even though more financial supported is expected. The college festival is managed as per expectation and they are quite big even though the prize pools are not as big as other m

No I did not avail any good scholarship/loan. facility. offered by my college b that i know of.

Campus Life

It's up to standards. Sport facilities are one of the best in India. Though you have to pay a little extra to use it. WiFi is not as reliable and fast always but it's okay and usable. Library and e- library is good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are clean. It is easy to get any hostel for the Freshers but from second year onwards it's gpa based prioritsed allotment. There is variety of choices to choose if you want to share your room or you want AC etc.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

The MBBS comprises 19 Subjects which is vast. Knowing so many things make you not only knowledgeable but also you have very important role in society. This course is filled with practical knowledge which are compulsory to get. This gives you skills which only a few people can have. So you already stand in society. The newer changes that has been made by NMC has reduced the time for studies. It was less exhausting before. Exams are properly placed and arranged . They are well divided into theories, practicals, internal examinations, certification for skills, etc. Last year has more papers now.

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. MIT manipal - a complete review(hostel, nightlife, fees, academics)

I chose this college because this was the best option I had among others that I got accepted into. Comparing to others, MIT has much lesser intake and a much better campus life. I made it into all the private colleges that I applied to, but not colleges like NIT and IIT Other colleges I got accepeted into are BITS, VIT, CET, LPU, Thapar. I didnt choose BITS because of the higher fees.
