Remarks

Dasa admissions were based on a preference order, mostly cause of the huge green campus and while I was joining my institute was ranked 2nd in all Nits and top 20 overall in India. Also the college had a very high placement percentage for my branch atleast. Plus my admission was based on Sat scores so the top colleges get filled first if scores clash they select it based on age

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very hard, its not to scare anyone but studying in iits or nits is a tough time. U have got to have good time management between your academics and extra circulars because these are some of the best institutes in India and they arent going to go easy on you. The more they rub you the better you become and the more fame they get. Faculties are like every other college, we can't depend completely on them, every college you go you have to work hard on your own faculties will just help you out the lectures are there but dont expect that you will learn everything from their lecture its just there to give you some basic insight, especially for CSE the exam paper is fully conceptual based and maybe only 10% will come directly from lectues, remaining part you have to know how to apply the concepts.

Placement Experience

4

Placement cell works well in our college a lot of companies come to our college mainly because first off its an Nit and second it is very highly ranked. A variety of companies come and many famous ones also come to our college these details can easily be checked online and most of the students in CSE get placed the rate is above 97% which is pretty good, there is a place inside our college to present our ideas for startups so that it becomes an incubation. Apart from that if you just work hard, get a good cgpa enough to at least sit for the interview and have good knowledge fo the subjects you will get a good job.

College Events

4.5

The fest life in my college is really amazing. We have two major events Innovison which is a tech fest and every club participating puts something related its doesnt really have to be tech. It starts normally on a Friday and ends on a sunday night with a Dj performing on the Saturday and Sunday. This is normally in the autumn semester. The spring semester also has one fest and it os for all the fun events nothing tech related for eg. there is a fashion show at night and a lot of events go on throughout the day, the last day also ends on a Dj night many studentd from 2nd year onwards participate in organising the fest and it turns out to be a wonderful weekend

Campus Life

I think every government college in India is inferior in infrastructure compared to private colleges. There is no wifi in hostels for our institute atleast. They provide you lan the internet speed isnt that fast but everyone uses DC++ to download their movies its extremely fast for movies and tv series and you can download up to 1 Gb in like 30 sec. Library is pretty good they have all types of books you will need sports facilities are also good we have a basketball, football, cricket ground. Football gorund doesnt have grass but the ground is proper with just sand though. The lab equipment is not that good although i cant say much as I have used only in 1st year. From 2nd year onwards i only have computer lab and there is no equipment which you need to work on. Hostels depends on which you get some have big rooms some have half the size of the other hostel room it really isnt fair but we cant do anything about it.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel really depends on which hostel you get some have extremely big rooms and som have very small rooms in fact even half of the rooms which I said before. Everyone who applies for B. Tech will get a hostel room no doubt about that although no matter which hostel you get you will have to share for the 1st 2 years and last 2 yrs you will gey single rooms but there is talks that will change from this year onwards and that every hosteler has to share till 4th year. Anyways hostel life is amazing the room might be horrible but the fun part is hanging out with your friends going to canteen 2am in the morning amd eating and much more. The bathrooms are sharing means every corridor has one which means around 10 rooms share it i.e 20 people approx share 4 bathrooms you can go to any corridor you want there is no restrictions on that the heaters dont work everywhere but that is expected after all it might take some time adjusting to hostel life it will be amazing although their infrastructure is not that good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

Course Curriculum Overview:

sociology as an academic discipline is really sought after in the recent times. it is considered as one of the most sought elective chosen by the upsc aspirants and the discipline in itself gives you a great chance at understanding your society and other societies about how they function amd operate, provides knowledge about various cultures, health, environment, city structure and so much more. you can pursue higher studies or go for NET exams right after post graduation. you can also work with ngos and other nonprofit organizations. each semester is ideally of 6 months and two exams are there. the difficulty level of exams would range from moderate to high

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
