It is under the top 10 colleges of India. The botany department of Hansraj College has very cooperative and good professors. Lab facilities are also very good. We are allowed to perform experiments separately. Practical classes are the most important thing for the science stream. We are provided microscopes separately to perform any experiment. Marking patterns are also good. The most important thing is teachers doesn't keep students engage in college work so you can prepare for any other entrance exam alongside. I think botany is best. The only disadvantage is that the lab hours are very long and it frustrates. Even if you are done with your practicals you have to wait till 5 pm.
I think the best thing in college is cooperative and the best professors. They are highly qualified(PhD scholars) and also net and JRF qualified. The number of students is approximately 70 and teachers are 10 to 15 excluding lab technicians. The teaching methods of teachers are very good and they start teaching any topic from the base level and promote root learning. Exams are scheduled time and you will get the tentative date sheet one year before which is the final datasheet too. Earlier due to some strikes and now due to corona that means for the last 2 years results are declared very late.
Placements are good but for students of commerce, mathematics or computer sciences. But for my course that is botany there are not good job offers atleast for the graduate students. Mostly student prefers to undergo masters after graduation. But if you want a job you can get that through placement cell but they dont pay well. Deloitte, Accenture, TCS, etc many renowned companies as well as startup companies offer jobs.
Fees are quite high as compared to other colleges under Delhi University. But yes you can get scholarships or some few recession. Like many of my sc st, classmates got fee recession up to 15000 and also if you perform well you will get cash rewards up to 5k. Also, the government also provides scholarships of a maximum of 2k for poor students. But for that, you have to clear an interview with your teachers.
Hansraj College organizes a good fest. Last year Jassi Gill has come to perform. There are many clubs and societies also which you can join and trust me they are very good for the learning experience and personality development. You can join any society of your interest. If you want to contribute to the environment you can join Haritma or Green Warriors Club, if you are interested in social work you can join NSS, if you are interested in sports you can join our sports society, drama society, music society, connecting dreams, etc there are so many societies to explore and learn new things.
My room was good with all the facilities like ac, attached washroom and electricity bill was also included. And it was just opposite to my college. It takes me only 2 mins to reach to college. But it is very costly and food was also excluded. I have to pay extra money for food.

Because hansraj is comparitively better than that and it has better faculties.
Placements start with the 5th semester in the third year of the course. Various big companies like Bain, BCG, Deshaw and LEK Consulting etc. They offer competitive packages to the students and the college offers 90% placements.
Students can apply for placements in their final year. There are many companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Unschool, etc which offer good packages. The average annual package ranges between 4-5 lakhs per annum. The placement rate is around 80%. Talking of me, I am planning for going for MBA after this degree.
All the faculty in the college are very helpful throughout the course. They share their work experience and proper guidelines for the future and betterment of the student. 75% of the attendance is mandatory for all the students to be e applicable for appearing in the examination. Exams are conducted in the two mid-term examinations and end-term examinations. Students must score 50% to pass the semester.
We have a campus placement cell that handles all the companies coming in for placements and internships. It is active throughout and we have internships coming in all year round. In third year we become eligible for placements. CPC verfies our resume or CV in various steps and then they are sent to companies we are interested in. We have interviews then if we are selected we are informed. The placement ratio and the packages are good. I'm going for masters at IITD through IIT JAM.
I was interested in mathematics than in other subjects that's why I chose this course. And here I got the best curriculum which is fulfilling my further career needs. Faculty members are very friendly and help each and every student to perform his/her best. Exams are as per the schedule and difficulty is moderate.
On-campus placements are offered but most students prefer for masters, in top colleges the placement packages can get very high upto 30lacs + per annum for the Bcom program, if on-campus is not available faculty guide the student for off-campus.
Campus internships and placements are provided but in less number. Many companies came here to hire students. But I think the profiles that they come for is not related to the course being provided in the college. They are very common profiles that anyone can apply for if having the relevant skills. Course-related placements are less. My plan after the UG is to opt for PG course in the same field. And to do part-time job.
I found that my college is near to my home and i usually prefer to travel in my sports car because i find public transport as very poor. the college was literally of no use to me to be honest. but its fine
I didnt sat for any placements or any kinda job interview. i dont find private jobs made for me. i have leadership qualities since birth and i cant work under any person
Bhagini nivedita college is awesome college. Each and every thing is very good in this college. Campus is very big with 5 parks well maintained building.
Entrance Exam Conducted by Delhi University. I only remember that I got 12th rank out of 13 seats available for general category. I selected this college because it had a very good reputation, the course was affiliated to DU and it was a government organisation.
Placement was 100%. The following companies came :Otto bock Endolite Total, Boyner, Tynor On an average they offered Rs 20000 per month.
