Remarks

Infrastructure- The campus is beautiful and nature-friendly. There are cafes, sports grounds, auditorium, clubs, hangout places, all well maintained and clean. Other facilities like hostel and library, both serve an excellent service. Faculty- Teachers are helpful and supportive. Due to this pandemic, they use different software to enhance our skills. They always try their best to guide us regarding assignments. Mostly they believe in practical learning rather than theoretical and push us to bring our innovative ideas. Placement- Actually, placement varies from department to department, some courses offer really amazing packages. I'm still pursuing my M.A, so I don't know much about this. Admission - The college publishes its admission form in December. You have to select your admission written exam and interview date. Also, they publish the admission test result within 24hrs. Fees Structure- Compare to other colleges, it's reasonable with excellent facilities.

Admission

Merit + Admission test + Interview

Interview Experience

4

For admission, you have to crack the written test, online test, and interview. In the interview, they might give you some situation related to your course, or they ask questions about recent issues, current affairs. Also, sometimes they ask tricky questions to test the confidence level and your delivery style. It's not too difficult to crack the test, but you have to be confident while speaking and a thorough understanding of the subject is important.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester where you have to do an internship project for the semester based Most of the companies that visit are from the news organisations like Bangalore Times, The Hindu, Mint, Times of India, Deccan Herald and other companies like ITC also visit frequently. I am not quite sure about the packages offered.

Placement Experience:

By the end of the 2nd semester, we are constantly notified about any vacancies in any department. The college placement cell sends us notifications through our class monitors or sometimes throyoutlr HOD. Even after the end of our final semester exam, we are added in a group that is specially meant for job opportunities and placements, where they constantly update and notify us. Out of 32 students in our class, a total of 12 students got placement. As for me, my plan is to do PhD in the said field.
