'The Honest Review'

I previously applied for Lovely Professional University for BTech but didn't join due to high fee. Then after getting good reviews of Lucknow University on Collegedunia, I applied here. There was no criteria of minimum marks to apply for admission. Everyone with 80% or above got admission in desired courses. Admission process was quiet easy. I applied through DP( for the wards of defence personnel) quota. Admission process was online but we have to go to college for document submission. Got full assistance from college authorities.

There were no term exams for our batch because of Covid-19 pandemic. Internal assessment was done. Teachers gave full support during tough times. But there were some teachers who were not able to teach at their best in online mode. But they tried their best. Recently we got our semester 1 result and we are satisfied with the results though there are some corrections needed in the results, which will be done timely as assured by our teachers and authorities.

The fees for Bsc(Maths) 1st semester was Rs 9277 only and semester 2 was Rs 4277 only. Second semester fee was less because there were no practicals, they will be in our 3rd semester now. Our university gives scholarship to every student but the documentation for scholarship could get tough if there were mistakes while applying for it. I was not able to get the scholarship due to the same problem. But most of the students got.

There are no college fests in our university. There library here , The Tagore Library is very good, most of the needed books are available here and can be published for the students. The classrooms are quite old fashioned but they are good. Not many sports are available in Lucknow University, so aspiring for sports person there are no facilities here. There is NSS in university, after doing its camp of social service you get certificates which are good for resume. And NCC is also available in university.
