My college campus story

I have applied for various colleges but the major factor for choosing Lucknow University was its location which is near to my town. He/she must have mathematics subject in qualifying exam ie 10+2. Once the registration process begins you have to apply for the same. Admission is done based on an entrance exam which is conducted by the university. The examination is based on objective pattern questions are asked from class 11 and 12 physics chemistry mathematics. Once you qualify for the entrance exam. The counselling process began which is online and then you have to submit the fee for seat confirmation which is different for different courses and then document verification which is done on the campus itself.

I wanted to pursue mathematics as my career that's why I have chosen this course. Classes are held regularly and faculty members are helpful if you have any doubts you can ask them personally. Faculties are well experienced and teaching method is really good. Practical classes are also held regularly but practical equipment is not up to date they are mostly old and do not work. There are a total of 6 semesters i.e one year 2 semester question paper is of 80 marks and 20 marks are for assignments, attendance and presentation. Exams are not easy to pass. it is not easy to please Faculties by your answers you really have to work hard. Usually, odd semesters are subjective and even semesters are objective. But due to covid all the exams are in objective pattern only. By the way objective exams are comparatively easy.

Lucknow University is a state university cost of the study is not much it is affordable. for my course fee was around 12500/year. There is two scholarship which university provide kshatra Kalyan scholarship which is for economically weaker students and another is karmyogi scheme which provides part time job to students such as in the laboratory, library etc.

Libraries in university are some of the best the major libraries are cooperative lending library, Tagore library and cyber library. In CLL you can lend books related to your courses. in Tagore there is a wide range of books available for reading and provide a peaceful environment for study and in the cyber library, you are provided with desktop and high-speed Wi-Fi. Usually, there is no fest at a big level. Playgrounds are their football. hockey, cricket gymnasium is also on campus. Various competitions like debate speeches and quizzes are organized in various departments. There is one cultural club Sanskriti.
