Remarks

Told parents that I'm not getting desired subject because my rank was a little high (17035). Dad actually understood and offered me to try Amity, loved the infra, facilities. Induction was smooth. Teachers/student relationship matters a lot here. Attendance is ridiculously high (75%). Faculties are helpful in subjects. By any means do not be noticed doing any prohitbited activity otherwise repercussions are high. Education is not bad, students are. Keep a good company, its very easy to pick wrong company and stray away.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Some subjects are hard, no questions asked. They're simply hard. That'll need your attention. Others subjects are rather easy but long enough if you study one night before. 60-40 ratio of humans vs rich flexing idiot humans.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I never opted for an intership from the college itself, however some of my friends did. It was pretty simple. You have to intimate the departments that you need one, they'll help you with it. Don't expect stipend though. You can also try asking faculties, if you have good tie ups with them, they also help you out.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 7th semester onwards, you sit for placements, everyone gets a job, they make sure of it. ATPC actually cares about students, stay away from CRC department. Both are placement departments in Amity. Invest in your skills, grades dont matter much unless you cant even maintain a 6 or 7 GPA. You'll face a lot of rejections but dont lose hope, you'll get it eventually. From 2nd tear onwards you can try contacting these departments for internship opportunities if you can find one for yourself. So don't fear about unemployemnt. You'll get a job.

Fee Structure And Facilities

93% and above in CBSE will get you 100% Scholarship for a year.91-93% 50% Scholarship for a year, Keep CGPA above 9 to keep continuing scholarship. Every year Scholarship event happens and its awarded to students. If you do manage to get 100% Scholarship, please maintain it throughout the durantion of your course. It reflects positivity in your CV, actually helps in placement interviews.

Campus Life

5

Life is pretty chill in Amity, there's a lot of stuff to try.7 cafetarias, small parks, grass patches everywhere to sit and chill. Arcadia, Gym, Shooting Range, Squash, Volleyball Court, Seperate tennis court, swimming pool. You'll not get bored.Even if you do, college is surrounded with cafe(s), Gaming areas. Aracadia even has gaming Pcs (10 of them) for Csgo LAN gaming or any other online multiplayer game, PS3, PS4s with bean bags. Amity has everything, Got W.S. Smith supermarket in H block and by H block I mean, the building is H shaped. Open/underground parking free of charge.Metro Station is nearby.ATMs are present on campus. You can buy daily supplies to amity merchandise, yes even clothes. Once ripped a tshirt while playing volleyball so had to buy one.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Never really took any accomodation, I reside in Delhi so i had daily commute. But hostels in college are included inside the campus only but its very costly. Can't go into details becasue apart from hostelers, their friends/ people they know can't enter. Even for family you have to inform them and a pass will be made.

Admission

Never faced any test, GD, Interview as my 12th Standard % was high enough so I got to know that I can skip everything and apply directly, pay fees and be done with it. Registration and formalities were smooth. If you're having a low 12th Result, you might have to face written test and interview.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.
