Remarks
Admission to the BSc program is not easy nowadays, there are around 500 seats in the BSc mathematics program for which more than 10000 forms are applied. The entrance exam has only multiple-choice questions, from this year the negative marking has been ended by the University in the entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The BSc curriculum is very interesting from this year as University started a 3+1 year Bsc program. That if one student want to make his/her career in research then he/she must go for 4 year Bsc. After successfully implementation of new education policy at the time of admission students are asked for two major and 1 minor subject in the beginning implies that minor subject will be dropped in third year from the curriculum of student. There are various combinations provided by the University Which are, Maths, physics , chemistry Maths, physics, Statistics Maths, physics, computer science Maths, physics, astronomy Maths, physics, geology Maths, computer science, statistics
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very less 3 years ago as compare to nowdays. There are around 20k fees charged per year. There are scholarship provided by the government of Uttar pardesh for economically weaker section as much as their fees.
Campus Life
There University is changing drastically nowdays over a couple of years. There are very advanced environments in the terslms of technology and ither things. University has on le sanskritiki board which organise all the cultural programs over the year. Many department also organise workshops and seminars for students
Hostel Facilities
There are a total of 15 hostels in both the new and old campuses of Lucknow University, their hostels are renovating by this year so they will be in good condition in the upcoming 2 years. The hostel charge is around 5k-7k depending upon the room, whether single-seater or double-seater. The quality of mess food is quite average, and the mess fees are around 3k per month
