Remarks

The admission process is conducted online by jossa. The problem I faced was it was a little time consuming. The admission process is smother and mobile friendly. We didn't face any problems all over the process.

Course Curriculum Overview

My interest in robotics leads me to choose the electronics and communication course. The course covers all the aspects of theoretical ece but lacks practical practice. the exams were scheduled 3times in a semester (two of 15marks and one of 50 at the end ).

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The companies rolled out internships for 6 months for software engineer profile, machine learning and data science and also trainee engineer position with stipends from a range from 10k-80k. Projects were at industry level standards.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement ratio is pretty high with around 80 percent of students placed. The average stands at whooping 1 lacs for ECE (2022). Various big companies also visited the campus like Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Google, etc. The final year is packed with interviews and companies throughout the year

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government college so the fees structure is manageable for almost everyone, but for those who can't afford their fees, the college has several scholarships and financial assistance programmes.

Campus Life

The campus is beautiful full of greenery and a lake. It also has good sports facilities and an indoor badminton court. Classrooms are well equipped with ac. Also has free and huge library support to assist students. But the surrounding area of campus is not that developed

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly. Document verification:-Required documents include JEE scorecard, class 10/12th marksheet and income certificate for fee waivers. Pay intial fees and confirm your seat....Read More
