Remarks

I got 87 per cent in the 12th class and I applied for du admissions on the official website of du. I also gave the entrance test for b tech. Firstly I confirmed admission to deen dayal Upadhyaya college and then I transferred to Daulat ram. The procedure was so simple. You have to just fill out an online form and then just keep checking the official website of du about the cut-offs or notices related to admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose BSc chemistry hons as my brother suggested that to me. I have 27 classmates and the faculty is so nice. The teachers are well qualified, they have completed their phd and the method of teaching is really good. I have given an online exam and it was not too hard and the procedure was very simple. The exams were on time.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fees were around 19000 and as I am an sc category student I got a number of fees for which I have filled a form given by my college teacher. There were various scholarships for the students which are very helpful for them. You can take that information from your college teachers about the scholarships form, procedure etc. There are placements available in colleges. But not in my course.

Campus Life

3

The campus life is very good, you get an opportunity to interact with students of another college and enhance your speaking skills. All most all the colleges have their fests in which students from various colleges came and enjoy. There are various fests college fest, department fest, society fest etc. Books and journals are available in the library. The classrooms are very nice. Sports are available in colleges and many sports competitions are organized. Students have many WhatsApp grp in which information can be shared.

Other Applied Colleges

Deen dayal upadhaya | Bsc hons chemistry

Because daulat ram college is in north campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
