Remarks

Admission is taken through JEE MAINS only. The cutoff of Electrical engineering for OBC-NCL in 2021 is about 5.8k. For GEN, the OBC-NCL tuition fee will be 100% off only for family income less than 1 lakh per annum. For a family income, 1lakh to 5 lakh tuition fee will be 66% off. And no tuition fee for family income greater than 5 lakh. And there is no tuition fee for SC, and ST students.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Faculty members are very helpful. Specially Lab teachers are very helpful. Professors are quite disciplined and there are very tough rules for during exams. If you are caught using unfair means during exams you have to repeat that paper after two sem. But paper is quite easy you can pass the exams after studying regularly.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are also provided by the college. If any student didn't get an internship then the college offers him to do an internship at SIEMENS CENTRE. It provides students with internships and projects. Professors are also very helpful for projects and internships.

Placement Experience

4

The placement is quite good here. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, and many more companies hire students from NIT KURUKSHETRA. The best placement is for the IT branch followed by CSE. A total of 7 courses is offered here. In EE almost 70 to 80 percent of students got places this year. The average package is also satisfactory.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is as similar to other NITs and IITs but there are quite more fees on mess. Scholarships for SC, SC, OBC, and EWS. But placements are too good here. College provides placement on campus. Internships are also provided by the college.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus Life is excellent at NIT KURUKSHETRA. Clubs and cultural societies help students to explore. Clubs help students to improve their skills. The dance crew and Bhangra crew are awesome. There are a robotics club, music and dramatics club, HLAD, and ELAD society which are amazing. And Automatic vehicle club. It is best, they develop FW vehicles and participate in races.

Hostel Facilities

4

In the first year, we got a triple-seater room. Then afterward we got a single seater. There are a total of 11 boys' hostels and 4girls'shostelsl. Mess food quality should be improved according to their fee. The wardens and the Supervisor of the hostel are very helpful and friendly. There is a LAN connection in every room for internet usage. Hostel infrastructure is also modern type except for old hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it
