Remarks

Admission fees were a bit high and it seems to be kept increasing for freshers every year which is concerning also they don't provide opportunities to avail scholarships for students to compensate the amount. The infrastructure is nice and also the people here in our college are good nature-wise and also helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

As our batch of late so right now we're having our mid-term after 1.5 months of commencement of classes and after that, we have the end-semester exam in April. But the professors keep an eye that the quality of exams and question papers shouldn't decrease which is positive and they all try to help us in all possible ways.

Internships Opportunities

Actually, I didn't have much knowledge regarding the internship opportunities as I'm a fresher who just joined the college but I have some information about it from the seniors. The college provides a decent amount of intern opportunities from the 4th sem and some very good companies arrive on campus.

Placement Experience

As the college is newly built so there are various doubts in minds of students regarding the placements but the college is doing very well in terms of placements. The reason is the great coding culture on the campus, enthusiastic students, and supportive teachers and the college location as it's located in Karnataka provides an edge to it. Last year the average package was 8lakhs/annum and the highest package was 42 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not good and they are charging very high amounts ie sharp 16lakhs for 4yrs but they provide scholarships to minority category students as per govt norms and also to students whose annual family income is less than 4.5lakhs/yr. Placement opportunities are very good as the college is in Karnataka so they have a surplus amount of good companies visiting the campus.

Campus Life

Campus Life is the one which is most memorable and enjoyable as you face a hectic schedule during the weekdays but on weekends there are no classes and this is the time you get to indulge in various clubs and sports activities as there are a lot of opportunities running around the campus regarding sports and cultural events.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Placement Experience:

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Students of IIIT Dharwad belonging to the reserved and EWS categories can apply for scholarships funded by the state and central governements. Students have to submit application forms along with the necessary documents before the given deadlines.

A Student's Perspective

for the eligibiity of the course in iiit we need to get a good rank in jee advanced to get a seat in this college, no other type of admission are accepted in our college. application form will be provided in the josaa councelling as it will be provided once u get a good rank in jee and get a chance to get admission in the iiit and nit. reservation benefits are given for those who have a category such as sc st and ews obc etc. the frequency of the exams is balanced for the whole sem. and difficulty is moderate. as of now their is no improvement suggested in admission process as everything is online...Read More
