Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose the course because I like all the subjects in science especially Chemistry and Zoology and this course was having both the subjects no other courses was having 2 different subjects, which I like that's why I chose the course and in future, I can do masters in any one of subjects as it has made open a lot of career options in front of me. Student: faculty is pretty much good in my college 20:1 means there is one teacher over 20 students. The faculty members are having a Ph.D. degrees in their own respective subjects and they teach us the best they can they made us think in a unique way and because of them we have a unique perspective in different areas of life, studies, they make specific presentations and also allow us to make notes. Term exams always happen in around 6 months it is not at all difficult to pass because all the syllabi our professors cover make this priority first to teach us all the important topics and it has become easy to pass If we study from the PPT only

Internships Opportunities

5

Different companies like Amazon, Byjus, unacademy, Dell Technologies, McKinsey, Deloitte, etc. Are the companies which offer jobs and internships in our college with stipend, roles which are offered are according to their course and their specialization in the specific field, like under management and under cooperative fields with around stipend of maximum 6,7 lac and average 3 lacs. Different projects and tasks given by the company was to give the interview first and do teamwork on a specific project like on the topic of management or marketing their own companies and their courses like in Byjus all of this helps in making the student confident around people and do teamwork

Placement Experience

5

From the 5th or 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements depending upon the course they are doing and want to pursue in their future. So In other words third-year students become eligible for campus placements. Different companies have arrived like Accenture, Dell Technologies, Wipro, and Byjus no offers were made with the company Skuad, and Mckinsey in the last 2, or 3 years. The highest package offered in our college was around 6-7 lac per annum and the average package as per the company offered was around 3 lac last year. Different companies which are renowned in the industry are offering jobs and placements in our college mainly in the North Campus area at Delhi University. These companies and MNCs provide a lot of jobs to the students for earning their wages. The percentage of students getting placements in our college is around 87% based on the interest of the students. My plans after getting this degree are to complete my master's in psychology and after that, I'll be a psychologist.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our College and University for the specific course have the best fees policy and as it is the Central University and the fees are really very less if we compare the fees to other colleges and universities we can easily pay that much amount to get admission to any of the college in this Delhi University. The fee hike policy is the best policy in this university and college. The cost to study is really less and affordable for any middle-class or lower-middle-class family students. So it doesn't make us think that more than half part of the salary is going into fees. Our College offers different scholarships for the students namely Inspire scholarship, NSP, Vidya Basheshar Nath Taneja Scholarship, and Raj Kumar Jolly Scholarship, financial assistance is also provided by the college and the university top. On-campus jobs are also provided in the college and we also get off-campus jobs, on campus we get jobs with a stipend around 6 lac per year, the jobs also provide future and medical benefits

Campus Life

5

As I am very lucky having admission to the north campus college of Delhi University, Miranda House, I m having the best time of my life, for those who don't stay in Pgs and hostels like me, the morning rush at 8:30 am at Vishvvidyalya Metro Station is worth seeing. North campus colleges also have an annual fest and every year they give a new name to the annual fest yes we have different tech fests in our college literally every month and seminars also. Our Library also has different and each subject's book which is really helpful for us we can issue any book from the library we want. We also have different types of journals in our library. Our campus is literally very huge in our college we have different sports opportunities in our college like football, volleyball, badminton, etc. Space, lighting, temperature control, and ventilation all these amenities are in our classrooms, NSS, trichord, Vatavaran, etc are different clubs, social groups, and websites run by the students of colleges.

Admission

As I scored very good marks in my senior secondary exams in the year 2021, it was easy for me to get admission to Delhi University because the cut-off every year is really very high and children want to get admission to Delhi University. Eligibility of the course was to have a minimum percentage of around 96 and a maximum percentage of around 99 and must have completed his/her senior secondary education from a renowned board. I got the application form from the official website of Delhi University the application fee was 1500 and the last date to fill out the application was 31 August 2021. I have not got any reservations so no benefit from this side. The improvement I want to see in the admission process is to make the process easier and don't charge that much amount just for the application form. Now Common Entrance Test has to be given to get admission to Delhi University which is a really nice thought but the improvement I can think of is to declare the cutoff result around 15 days to save time

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Nutrition & Dietetics)

Because it was a private college and as I got selected in Delhi University I drop this idea of doing bachelor's from this college and took admission in Miranda House College

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
