Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Civil Engineering because I wanted to get into government jobs and civil engineering has the most government jobs. The student-faculty ratio is quite good at 1:25. Every faculty is very qualified but teaching quality could be improved. There are midterms and end terms in a semester and difficulty can vary from professor to professor.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 650000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Student starts getting internships in the third year some students get them in the second year only. It depends on you how well an internship are you able to get from the college. Stipends differ from internship to internship nevertheless the average is 15000.

Placement Experience

Students from the 7th semester onward are eligible for campus placements given they don't have any backlogs. Apple, Goldman Sachs, D.E. Shaw, Adobe, L&T, ICICI bank, Reliance, and many other companies visited the campus. The highest package was 64 LPA offered by Apple and the average was 12 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed. Want to crack UPSC CSE and become an IAS officer.

Fees and Financial Aid

MoE generally monitors fee hikes; the total fee including hostels for 4 years is around 9.5 lakh. Multiple centers and state govt. scholarships are provided and 75 percent fee waiver for students with a family income under 5 lakh and a 100 fee waiver for students with a family income under 1 lakh.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called Blitzschlag and the technical fest is called Sphinx. This year Blitzschalg was conducted in February and Sphinx will be conducted in march. The library has more than enough books to quench the thirst for knowledge, great Wi-Fi, a quiet environment, air conditioning, e-journals, and books are also available. Classes for the UG program take place in VLTC which is Asia's largest lecture theatre complex. The classrooms are very spacious and have air conditioning. Sports facilities are quite good here with almost every piece of equipment or field for every sport. Many clubs are present in college for every almost every hobby.

Hostel Facilities

At first, you get triple seater rooms then from the second year, you get single seater room. Facilities in rooms depend on the hostel but it has Wi-Fi/LAN (depends upon the hostel). Mess food is very good in some hostels and average in others. You have to apply through ERP.

Hostel Fee: INR 64000 per year

Admission

You can get admitted to the college in the B.Tech program only by appearing in JEE-mains. NTA releases the form twice a year look up their site for more details. The college has reservations of SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Female, and PWD candidates and 50 Homestate quotas for students from Rajasthan. The admission process is very streamlined and does not any trouble.

I like the personal mentorship for every student
I like placement opportunities given to the student
i like the environment of the college and practical work

i dont like the class timings and length
i dont like the prayer system at morning
i dont like college timing and regularly wearing college dress

Placement Experience:

in semester 6th the student is eligible for campus placements one of the company is techo tech highest pacakge of my college is 72 lacs per annum and average package is 4 lacs per annum there is 100% placement rate

I would rate the course curriculum as very good. It covers important topics and provides useful theoretical and practical knowledge. The syllabus is relevant to our field of study and helps develop our skills. However, including more practical sessions and industry-related topics would make the curriculum even better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

University of engineering and management jaipur is very good for faculty bahavior but it is not good for campus facilities and other facilities. Uem jaipur is not supported for students a event organised.

Likes

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

A complete average College

Friendly Teachers - treat you warmly and respectfully.
No severe Attendance Criteria or Extra marks deduction.
Many Seminars included throughout the course.

Dislikes

Architectural issues, building without repairs and many damages, no parks or playground for sports and activities.
Damaged computers and conjusted computer labs.
Need to revise the syllabus for CSE/IT as it is not keeping up with current tech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Placement services are good and also companies like Google and microsoft comes to visit our campus.
Quality of infrastructure is like a Nit as they focus on giving best building and infrastructure with good curriculum too. Advanced technologies and amenities are awesome.
Course curriculum is relevant and rigorous practice of real world applications problem helps in cracking big company's interview

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because here the course is relevant and infrastructure is good also they give scholarship to study here . Curriculum helps very well in improving real world applications in day to day life . Teaching methods are impressive but some times it looks like a burden as they give load to students in improving themselves so this thing they should improve . Timing of the exams are of 3 hours . Their exam pattern is like other government college but they take exam strictly. Difficulty level is medium level .

Honest and Truthful

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty team.
Well maintained campus with good labs, classrooms and internet connectivity.
Placement team puts efforts and many students get placed in reputed companies.

Dislikes

Cafeteria options and food quality can defineiely be improved.
Hostel infrastructure lacks proper maintenance and hygeine.
Limited exposure to hands in industry projects.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from fourth year. Most companies come for software development, data scientist, ai ml roles. The major recruiters are google, microsoft, deshaw, goldman sachs, flipkart,deloitte, hashedin, samsung. The highest package was 45 lakhs and average was around 13 lakhs.

Remarks:

College management Director was corrupted person he was the one who charged extra examination fees from student. Mark sheet of school and other important document has been kept by them till final year so that even if student wants to change the college they cannot.

Highly recommended

I had not applied for any other college. But I had choosed some other colleges like NIT allahabad, NIT Delhi and NIT kurukshetra in my jee council. But I got this college. And I think I got the best among them all. Eligibility critera was minimum 70% marks in 12th exams. Also, around 95 percentile in jee mains(for general) and 90 percentile around for sc/st. I am not aware of obc. However, this criteria change every year depending upon competition. Cut off was not given on marks, it was all about percentile, marks were out of 360. The people from outside were required to give some other exam. I don't have adequate knowledge of their procedure like what exam and cutoff....Read More

My first priority was to get mechanical engineering in NITK Suratkal, but i couldn't get a seat there as i didn't clear it's cutoff. I had applied for many universities but I am from Jaipur so finally I wanted MNIT Jaipur because it comes near me.
