Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course not BTech because I want to Explore some different opportunities rather than just studying and giving exams and this course gives you some free time to do so. The faculty of ARSD is good. We only have semester exams every 6 months and some class tests in between.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no campus placement for BSc cs hons it has for B com hons. Total fees 56000, The scholarship is given to some percentage of students on the basis of an Income Certificate and an interview. I don't have much idea about the interview.

Campus Life

4

Life on campus is very happening and as we all know with friends it becomes fantastic. The annual fest is tide and the Anual tech fest is tetrathlon. The availability of books is moderate for my course BSc cs hona I found only a few books. Extracurriculars are organized always and there are many sports such as volleyball, Football, Cricket, bat minto, basketball, and table tennis. A happy Club is a group Active now.

Admission

The admission process was simple and it was completely online via the du admission portal. I gave CUET and the Application process was simple, the cut-off was less for this year 2022 as it was First Time CUET happened.

Other Applied Colleges

Keshav Mahavidyalaya | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Computer Science)

As i got ARSD in 2nd round and keshav mahavidyalaya has less connectivity and far from my home

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.
