Remarks

I had completed my engineering from gsits indore with information technology as my major. I had taken gate exam through which i was granted admission in the esteemed university. I have been a part of two good college & universities and i can say the research in IISC is at par with any university or college in the world.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I graduated with information technology as my major so Mtech in computational and data sciences was my first choice. The faculty-to-student ratio is the best in the country. Faculties have studied at top universities in the world like ASU, MIT etc. and their Research level is at par with any high-ranking researcher in the world. Exams were based more on practical knowledge than theoretical. We were given projects on completion we would get marked.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 20200 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

different companies ranging from meta, google, pay u, Microsoft etc visit our campuses to offer internships with a handsome stipend ranging from 50k to 1 lakh depending upon the work and interview of the individuals. I interned at pay u as a data science and I currently working at pay u as a data engineer from 2021

Placement Experience

Best-in-industry placements are offered to the students. The median package stands at 20 lacs per annum to 35 lacs per annum. Companies like Google, Microsoft, meta, and Sony visit our campus. The highest package was 92 lakh per annum when I graduated.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very less as compared to any other institution at this level. You can get admission through kvpy and other exams also. PMRF is also key for admission to the university. University has one of the highest research facilities in the world

Campus Life

The hostels are amazing, and the clubs and societies are an integral part of college life, ranging from dance, and music to debate, history etc there are wide-ranging clubs and societies. The fest consists of participation from all the clubs and societies. All the big celebrities perform at our pravega fest

IIIT Banglore Experience

Placement Experience:

IIIT Banglore is well-known for its placement opportunities. The college not only has high educational standards but also offers competitive placement packages. Every year, the college retains a 100% placement record, with the highest selection package reaching up to 46 LPA and the median wage package being around 19 LPA, which are very good packages in contrast to many engineering colleges of such stature. Members of the college placement panel are also highly professional and have extensive industrial experience.

IISc at a glance: An Institute with a Legacy of Excellence

I applied to IISER Kolkata and got accepted. The choice was governed by IISc having a better ranking and being further away from home. No. I did not apply to any other colleges. Right now, officially, the two entry exams are JEE-Adv and IAT. In the past, KVPY, JEE-M and NEET were also options. Cutoffs vary every year and since this is the first year with only JEE-Adv as the exam, it is difficult to guess where the cutoff would be. The admission process is quite smooth. Or at least it was when I joined....Read More

IISC Banglore piqued my interest because the college M.Tech program fee is also quite reasonable and the placement is excellent. I passed the GATE and applied for admission through the college website, where I was called for the GD and PI rounds.
