Course Curriculum Overview
The course Curriculum is Updated to the NEP and the faculty members are supportive and cooperative. I chose this stream because I had an interest in physics. in faculty, it's an almost equal ratio of students. most of the professors are well qualified with a phd degree from iits!!! they teach mostly in English because of different students from all around the state and even India. exams are always on time and medium level according to me.
Internships Opportunities
You start getting internships after 1 year of university idk the exact name of the companies but tata, and Hyundai are the ones that visit us. Students get a smaller role as they are new to all this but with time they get big opportunities.
Placement Experience
The placement Ratio is increasing day by day. Most probably after 2-4 semesters, you get eligible for internships and then after completing the degree for placements. Last year ongc came with 28lac package the highest package of 28L average package as 2-3L Approximately 30% of students get placement. After getting a degree I'd love to go for higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees depends upon the subjects you opt so it's not more than 10k in the first semester because it includes admission fees too In the second semester it's about 3000rs only University itself offers a lot of scholarships to students from weaker backgrounds.
Campus Life
There are many fests, and seminars organised on daily basis, to be honest in every department. It has one of the biggest libraries in Asia with a lot of books and good facilities in the classroom. sports and extracurricular activities are also promoted on campus. Adamya is one of the famous groups run by campus students.
Admission
The Admission Process was as follows : Fill out the form of entrance for the courses you want to apply. Give the entrance its objective type ( there's no negative marking) University will release a merit list of students. If you qualify for the exam you'll get a call letter for counselling Moving to counselling, choice filling of subjects you want to take You'll be allotted a seat. Go for physical verification. that's it. Eligibility criteria depend upon the stream u belong to in intermediate with a minimum of 60% of marks required in boards. reservation plays a lil bit of a role too Application forms, Exam Dates or any other update can be found on the official website of LU
