Remarks

for the people who are least interested in extra curricular activities , i think this is a college just for them but then if someone wants a balanced curriculum then they might not like this college regarding studies the faculty is very good but they are actually very nil activities based on overall development

Entrance Preview

i wrote only CET (Karnataka) at very first round of college allotment i got this college i asked other people and heard good about this college so opted to go here

Course Curriculum Overview

3

the college is very much focused on studies and not so much in co curriculum so i think they should balance it equally it suits not have interest in research and follows the typical prescribed syllabus by the university there are no new topics or branch related things the curriculum is solely based on university prescribed syllabus and nothing else

Internships Opportunities

yes , there were a lot of companies that visited the college like Amazon , i gate , Mahindra and a bunch of other companies there is a good placement record of this college

Placement Experience

3

there are a lot of people placed from this college mostly from computer science branch and electronics branch igate and mahindra recruited quite a lot of students while Amazon and Accenture were very selective oracle also had come but they selected quite a few people but the overall placement from the college is good

College Events

1

we don't have much of events hosted in our college Freshers day , ethnic day and sports day is done punctually test are quiz competitions and some of other competitions which are not very engaging ready everything is based on curriculum and actually no activities and free time to engage this college is more based on marks than overall development

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure is quite affordable compared to other engineering colleges fees for the seriousness who join through CET is 70,000 and for management arrest students approximately pay anywhere between 1 lakh to 1.7 lakh and if the student can't afford that fees they even do a concession in it

Fees and Financial Aid

no , there are no such facilities provided by the converge but most of the students in the college apply for government scholarship and loan and the students in hostel get some extra scholarship to compensate their hostel fee but there is no such assistance from college to us

Campus Life

2

there are actually plenty of guys compared to girls but girls are also not that less i think they are 60:40 guys: girls ratio there is no racism and ragging there are so such parties for students . and very few student cultural programs everyone here is very accepting and tolerant about gender i think there is a lot of politics in the college within the staff but regarding students everyone is treated equally no one is differentiated on the basis of economies status

Hostel Facilities

2

the hostel facilities are very bad students someone's get late because they don't get sufficient water to take bath and get ready for class the hostel room is shared by two people which i think is nice but the infrastructure is bad and a lot of students complain about the hostel food they actually have to repeatedly eat the same food and also snacks are not given there are no indoor games for the hostel students to engage in .

Exam Structure

we have a very hectic day at the college we have classes from morning 8 to evening 4 even on Saturday our college sometimes works full day we have frequent tests and exams we have weekly class tests and monthly exams and 3 internals and in which we have to have a mom pass percentage to qualify our exams

Admission

i got allotted a seat in this converge through CET i reported to the college paid the prescribed fee and they told me to report to the college on a particular day i had to submit my documents before a specific date after that my admission was done

Faculty

2.5

they have a really good staff very dedicated staff in regard to teaching but a bit less friendly regarding nature and conversation they help in studying by explaining how to study and how to distribute time for studying at all as other activities they even conduct remedial and extra classes to help finish portions and get good marks

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
