Remarks

from starting first year to ending last year, college was good, don't depent on anyone, do as many projects u can do,don't be studying 24 hours, be friendly with teachers, teachers were sweet and helped me lot, research initiative is really nice in our institute, Cantten food is not nice and no stationary shop in our college, and have vijaya bank in our college

Entrance Preview

To join this clg i wrote cet exam,i followed all the cet process and got seat in this clg,no interview process was nt done,my course electronics and communication,i was really interested in electronics field and communication field too,it has really good subjects, electronics and communication is a difficult course,i know we don't have more companies on electronics and communication in Bangalore but then also i was interested in this course a lot which made to choose electronic and communication.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

My course was perfect and it was tuft too, but it was really interesting course which deals more with electronic circuits, more than theoretical part in electronic and communication should have practical part more. learning electronics practical will help more to develop our India, they more numbers of project on electronics, so electronics is a very much important in our life, Not much focus practical part as management not ready to invest for lab, yeah we research initiative in our department and i am working under it ,it is really very much useful for me.My elective option was electrical and electronic communication.

Internships Opportunities

No,i am in 4th year of engineering, still now call not even informed about a single internship, even teachers told if u r interested to intern to find it by yourself and do it by yourself, cbcs scheme students r lucky becoz compulsory they have to do internship after 3rd year,no experienced

Placement Experience

2

placement scenario is good but more companies wont come for electronics and communication in our college, most of the company comes for computer science and information science department,20% of the students got placed from our department, infosys, tech mahindra companies visited,do not about average package but it is less

College Events

2.5

very less events were conducted in this clg, like impulse from computer science department, innovate me from mechatronics, now ardunio workshop from electronics and communication department,it was ok,all were organized superbly,no problem occurred during events

Fee Structure And Facilities

i have joined electronics and communication with low fees so,i paid 39000 for cet and 6500 for college fees in the year 2014 and almost i paid same for 2nd year,3rd year and now 4th year, now the cet fees is increased a lot,now cet fees is around 56000 and college fees is also more,i was lucky that i paid very less fees in 2014

Campus Life

2

less extracurricular activity, yeah get a lot of opportunities from the research center, facilities were good. when I joined this college, I got really good friends, enjoyed a lot with them, teachers were awesome, supportive, I experience unbelievable, it was really superb

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No,not in hostel but in home,i have home in Bangalore,no i don't know about hostel rooms but this i know rooms r not single, rooms r on sharing,Near coll we have lot of PGs,i don't have how much my friends pay for them, food was ok ok not too bad, but my friends told that daily they will make the same thing, they got bored eating same thing.

Exam Structure

No. not much, before 1 week of exams, i study everything, during 1 day before exam i revise everything and go to write the exam, exams are little bit difficult but they have not made tired, it was chill.

Faculty

4

faculties r better, they explain everything, some teachers gives extra knowledge for future use, really 90% of teachers are experienced well, most of them are qualified well,i really like to attend classes, they all teach us well, electronics and communication subjects have more circuits, learning circuits is not so easy, but our teachers teach us well

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
