I took AIEEE and i got selected for college and got in to metallurgy and shifted to chemical Engineering i was very good with Chemistry in my school days so taught that Chemical engineering is the right option for me.

Course was one of the best for core engineering, I was more interested in organic part of whole curriculum regarding the research point of view it was the major aspect for MTech students as i was a BTech student i got to know many things related to everyday life course was designed in very systematic manner every year by year.

Yes they provide internships which pays around 5000 20000 depending on the level of the project.

NITK stands on top position in South India for placements. Big players like Google, Facebook, Microsoft approach our college for recruiting bright students. Even companies like TCS and Infosys recruit in big numbers every year. Package varies from 5.5LPA 30LPA depending on company and position offered.

It was first conducted in 1970 and has grown exponentially in stature over the years to become one of the largest cultural festivals in South India.Other than this we have multiple events happening every single day.

We almost spent 2 lakh per year including tuition and hostel fee. It was not that expensive compared to the quality of college. Best hostels and beautiful campus. Please do not consider the same fee at present situations because i heard that the fee has been increased bu 3 folds recently.

All scholarship like Merit Scholarships for toppers and Post metric scholarship facilities are also available for students in need. Loan as far i know there is no loan available even if the scholarship amount is really less you get to pay some kinda fee.

Our campus was one of the beautiful campus in India, private beach, playgrounds, luxurious hostel facilities every talent of the college has some or the other thing to be done in collaboration with the college as i was a part of a club named Artist's forum one of the core team of Artist's forum at NITK Surathkal Artist Forum activities involve conducting events, exciting workshops, organizing interactions with professional artists, and hosting exhibitions to showcase talented student artists. Artist Forum also contributes largely to our colleges technical and cultural festivals engineer and Incident respectively in terms of ambiance, and creative input. We also showcase the artwork of talented students during Incident in our exhibition called Kalakriti.

One room was shared by 4 person in the first year which is bad then after second year you get to stay 2 person per room all room allocation is done very neatly all 3rd and final year you get the Mega hostel i.e. 1 person / room which is really necessary

NITK has a diverse, functional and strong team of Alumni as i was very busy with job i did not get time to attend alumni meets as our campus placements are awesome we have at least one person in every single company you check on.

Curriculum includes the set of academic regulations course structure and grade point average and CGPA which is the Cumulative Grade Point Average usually its not hectic if we do our day to day works but if you lose your grade in just one semester its real

Every single faculty was awesome with such good experience and knowledge. Our department faculties are very famous in our college as allrounders specially subjects like Heat transfer, Mass transfer 1 & Chemical reaction engineering 1& 2 needs a very clear
