Likes

Library is very well maintained and fully furbished
Canteen is present with reasonable rates
The student teacher ratio is very good as compared to others

Dislikes

The building is very old classes are not maintained
The infrastructure is the worst there is nothing to do in college rather than sitting in classes
Teachers are not regular with classes and syllabus is not completed on time

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I have a liking for programming There are 20 students in my class After every 6 months there are semester exams with medium difficulty The syllabus is most of same as what you have studied in class 11 and 12

There are various internship opportunities you can be a part of placement cell they are in contact with various companies and overall seeing the condition of college the internship opportunities are in good amount there is always one or more internship always in line for the students

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees is 14000 yearly which is very affordable as of living cost you have to find pg or hostel or rent an apartment Most of the money is spend on accomodation only as living expenses of delhi are very high

There are various clubs in college which include drama singing instrumental placement cell etc Apart from clubs you can also take part in sports like volleyball cricket football etc Library is well furnished

You have to give the cuet exam And I got admission in ba prog ( comp application + economics ) For this course there is no special requirements However prior knowledge of computer languages would be helpful All the info regarding the application are present in the website of cuet exams

according to all the reviews i have read the placement ranges from 4-5 lcs per anumm to 24 lcs per anumm which is quite decent i think the students can become eligible for placements in 2nd year of college some companies that have visited the college : delloitte KPMG HDFC bank bajaj finance amazon genpact tata consulting services in 2024 around 300+ people were reported as placed highest packedge in 2024 - 12lkh per aummn

My overall experience in delhi university

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me, bachelor of Arts is a waste program, it doesn't prepare you for anything except government exams. It doesn't prepare you for real world applications unless you have other in demand skills. I think there's a lot of need to change the syllabus of bachelor of Arts and teachers should be supportive and qualified. In every 6 months there's semester exams and mostly they're quite difficult.

DU life is better than any other college life

Remarks:

Positive- Faculty is one of the best in among all colleges of Delhi University. It has the biggest infrastructure in Delhi university. Located in central Delhi which makes it easily accessible to reach Central park, red fort, and many more places in New Delhi. Negative- Annual fest is very poor in our college. Placements are not very good. Lack of sports facilities. Very strict rules and discipline.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
