Course Curriculum Overview
Enginnering is all about passion so choose the course according to your passion and choose the college based on the NIRF ranking The curriculum herein nitk was too good. The teachers are very friendly. They always encourage us to think new. Their doors are always open to answer the questions of academic enthusiasts. The clubs here are really helpful. there are nearly 6technical clubs which do various projects and face various challenges. these clubs bring unity in us and help us innovate new things. The exams here are of good level. In a semester we will have two quizzes and one midsem and one endsem. The teachers were highly qualified and efficient. there were projectors in the class which helped us to understand the topics better. We even have lab sessions where we experiment the things and note the observations. The academic experience here was very good.
Internships Opportunities
We will be eligible for the internships from 3rd year. You will need to have a good cgpa to get good internships. Some of the companies that offer internships are Wipro,samsung,Amazon,etc... Generally internships are for 2 to 6months. Monthly salaries ranges from 10k to 60k If we do internship in 3rd year it will help us to get placed in a good company in the 4th year.
Placement Experience
The placements percentage in our campus is 92. 3rd years will be eligible for internships 4th years will be eligible for campus placements. You will need to have a good cgpa to get placed in a good company. More than 250 companies visit in an year Some of the companies are Amazon,texas,samsung,Wipro,etc... The highest package here ranges from 45 to 55 lakhs. The average package is 18lakh. We can even pursue higher studies in good universities. We can even plan for startups
Fees and Financial Aid
For one year, the fees including hostel fee and mess fee is around 2lakhs. Their will be compensations for those whose income is low. Based on income their are three sub categories 1) more than 8l :need to pay the total fee 2)less than 5l:need to pay 2/3 of total fee 3)less than 1l:need to pay 1/3 of total fee. Based on reservations even fee gets reduced. Their are many scholarships to support economically weaker sections. For girls,even their are special scholarships. You can even earn the money by participating in competitions.if we win the competition the prizemoney will be around 10k and many competitions will be held. All you need to do is showcase your talent
Campus Life
The fests that happen in our college are 1)incident:it was a cultural fest.it takes place in the month of March usually.it happens for three days.chiefguests were invited from various fields.many events take place which almost covers all the activities like debates,films,dance,photography,music etc... 2)engineer: it was a technical fest.technical enthusiasts enjoy this a lot.drone racing,robowars are some of the events.it happens for three days.we enjoy a lot during this. Coming to the events,many events take place in the college one of the event which I want to mention is bharatdharshan which will be celebrated on republic day. The theme of this is to showcase the culture of the states in india.we participated in this and we enjoyed a lot. Their are many clubs technical clubs and non technical clubs. Some of the non technical clubs are photography club,genesis dance club,fashion club,yoga club,lsd,astronomy club. Some of the technical clubs are acm,IEEE,iste.
Admission
The admission process was through josaa,dasa and csab. Dasa is for NRI's Josaa and csab are based on the jee mains rank The eligibility for this is above75percentage in class12th Josaa takes place in 6rounds and their are two mock rounds to make students aware of the counselling process. Initially, you will need to fill the choices in the order of your preferences. After every round, you will get the result. you accepted this seat and you are ready to accept the choices above this. you accepted this seat and your college is fixed you are ready to change the course in the same college mentioned higher than this. you are accepting this seat and not participating in further rounds Csab special rounds are for the vacant seats after josaa counselling. the process is the same as josaa. In josaa counselling you will need to pay the fees and submit documents in the second round
