Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.

I got CSE there, but left because the placement scenario is not as I expected, as it is a new college and still progressing, while UIET, PUSSGRC has a good placement scenario of 70-80% placements and has a good reputation. Admission to this college is on the basis of JEE Main exam and by appling JAC Chandigarh Counselling.
