It is undoubtedly the Best Government College which is celebrating 100 years of glory. The fees is feasible and also due to the notable Alumni. 1st Engineering College of our state which was established by Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya. Also it's the Only Engineering College under the Bangalore University.

I feel all the subjects which are the part of the curriculum are most important subjects which are very closely associated with the current requirements of the information technology industries and hence the curriculum is thoroughly organized well for all the semesters. However, it should keep on updating according to industrial requirements.

UVCE college offers the best Internships programs for students. Every Year almost around 100 an odd companies visit the campus who provide funds as per the industrial standards. Internship programs usually vary from 6 months to a year.

The Placement Opportunities in UVCE are directly handled entirely by the student and Alumni community of the college which makes it the best place to be in if the students are looking predominantly for Campus Placement opportunities uvce one of the best places to be in. And every year 50+ companies visit the Campus of UVCE and usually the placement percentage is more than 90.

We usually have two college fests every year of which one will be Technical and the other will be Cultural. This is the only time the entire college would be a spectacle to watch. Rest of the other times it looks like a 500-year-old Institution. Sports and Literary Activities encouragement is not very good though. But nice Academic events are conducted for the benefit of the student community.

The fee structure in the college is extremely feasible since it is a Government College thus making it one of the most affordable engineering college institutes for the middle-class family students like me. However, a lot of money is collected from the departments due to various reasons such as project work, seminar etc.

The scholarships are given only to the students who belong to the backward class community. No scholarships for the students belonging to General Category. And I am unsure about the loan facilities that the college provides.

The Infrastructure in the college is extremely pathetic, the Labs, the washrooms, the library, the benches, the tables, the classrooms are 100-year-olds which are not maintained properly. However, the campus looks huge and can be of use when you plan to bunk classes. The gender ratio is almost 1:1. UVCE is a College which has Unity in Diversity. Sports and Other activities are not too much encouraging. However other associations with respect to academics are good. Debates, Seminars, IEEE events are well organized.

The worst facilities you can ever imagine. The buildings are too old, not clean, no proper equipment and the management of hostel is not good and the hostel food is pathetic making it difficult for students who are foodies and have a very good taste buds. It would be really good if the students can make their own arrangements for residence and food

The Alumni Network in UVCE placement team is very strong, however, the alumni team apart from the placement is not something to be considered for college selection criteria. Seniors are extremely helpful in providing notes and guiding the new entries to the campus.

The exam structure in UVCE is totally disorganized since the exam dates are usually decided directly by Bangalore University which makes it difficult for the students to correctly expect the dates of commencement of the exam. And the exam timetable, however, is usually well organized.

1. Initially we had to write Karnataka State PGCET Entrance Exam after the Completion of Bachelors Degree. Final year students are also eligible. 2. After getting the Results of pgcet entrance exam I had to apply for various Colleges for the Course of which I am interested in pursuing the Masters. 3. Based on the merit the college was alloted after which the prescribed Fees have to be paid 4. Verification of all the essential Documents, fees paid would be done and then the Admission process gets completed

Our College has very good, friendly and professional faculties who are extremely learned and would properly guide the students in the right direction. Even though the portions usually are not always completed, what ever part of the curriculum they cover they teach it very well and help the students to score well in both internals and externals.
