- The infrastructure of Miranda House is much better than any other college of DU.It has good spacious classrooms and Library is the best thing in Miranda House and the green lush lawns provide ample amount of peace which every mirandian deserves.
- Miranda House is as usually famous for its extracurricular activities.They are more than 40+societies in miranda house which provides a good amount of exposure to students
- Recently,it started the mentor mentee club.As we live in the world of mental stress and depression and mostly the youth takes large portion in it.introducing this kind of new initiatives is only possible with MIRANDA
Dislikes
- I'm not satisfied with the placement cell of Mirandahouse as it is not provide the opportunities to all courses
- There is a lot of preference to honors course compared to programme.If you are the person,who opted for programme then definitely you will feel that you got ignored
- Learning and getting inspired from teacher is very less as faculty sometimes only rush to complete the syallabus.Thats basic nature of any other degree college faculty
Course Curriculum Overview
Frankly speaking,The suallbus is not at all helpful in my future prospects and that will be only helpful to fetch score in the semester exams and in fact we only read those books during examination.But the positive thing,we got exposed to various new topics,if you are the person who is interested to study deeper,then the course will help you get the basic entry and library is the place to get the deeper knowledge.I suggest to improve the curriculum and make it more practical rather than only theory
Placement Experience
I'm not at all satisfied with the placement cell of Mirandahouse.It only provides opportunities to few courses and they completely ignore the other courses.the internship opportunities are also not at the standards everytime,they get very cheap internship which doesn't even helpful for future prospects of student
Fees and Financial Aid
The college of fee of Mirandahouse is very affordable and there is also financial assistance scholarships.Most of the students got enrolled in national scholarship portal.But the dealing officer of scholarship division is not a approachable person.Infact ,I didn't got scholarship for this year because of that officer.so,the officers should be friendly and there is no awareness programe in the college to get enrolled in the nsp portal.so,it's better to start this.awareness programme.
Campus Life
Miranda House is best in this arena.Its a hub of extracurricular activities..It has more than 40+societies and exposure we got here is something commendable.I can say,the best thing in the college is societies.
Admission
My admission for crystal clear process.In my first cut off only,i got into Miranda House.Infact I haven't applied to any other college.I get OBC quota benefit.The admission officer sent an email to send the updated certificate.The admission process was very smooth
Faculty
Faculty of Miranda House is best because they don't only touch the students life professionally but also if students have any personal issue,faculty will try their level best to provide support to the student.The class room faculty student ratio is 1:40 and some times 60.They not only teaches the syallabus but instill us the sense of responsibility towards nation.They guide us about our career and coming to cons,there are teachers who only prefer honors students and doesn't give much opportunity to programme students.They are bit partial infact
