Likes

They also provide a very good practical knowledge like as theroritical knowledge
A very good library for students to study in the free time
And the college ground is very large and in good condition and rather than it there are various other courts for different sports

Dislikes

Some teacher's don't know how to teach with respect that have Many degrees but they don't know how to deliver the knowledge to students
In the administration block they talk very rudely with students
The hostel facility is very less for children as there are not as much rooms for students

Course Curriculum Overview

Mainly I choose this course as I want to go further in research field in future. By opting this course we get a wide knowledge towards both plants and animals anatomy, physiology,and morphology. While the timing of the exam vary as you are giving practical exam or theroritical exam

Mainly last year there 930+ offers given to students of internship Mainly popular recruiters are Deloitte USI, AON Consulting, KPMG Global Services, Flipkart and more. Mainly they choose you on the basis of your exam performance and form that may be a Google form provided to you and on a Personal Interview.

Placement Experience

Mainly the last semester students become eligible for campus placement but it sometimes varies as company requires. Over 90 companies visited last year average package is INR 5.90 LPA Popular recruiters are Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte Offer's made were more than 200 Highest package that was offered was INR 21.50 LPA by WIPRO

Fees and Financial Aid

Mainly the fee for my course is 20000 And if your family income is less than 400000 per annum you can apply for scholarship. One of the other scholarship is PMSSS this scholarship is for students who belong to Jammu&Kashmir and Ladakh by this scholarship they can get admission in Delhi University and by this scholarship they don't need to pay college fees and get some amount of money for their daily expenses per semester

Campus Life

The Annual fest name is "NEXUS" this year was held on 8,9,10 April and it was a joyful event on the last day of fest at night Mohit Chauhan(singer) was invited to perform. The library has a good space for children to study there and book's availability is nice. There are many different courts present for different different sports such as basketball, Tennis, Badminton and there is a cricket field and nets for the practice and football ground also. And there Many societies in the college that impacts on students life such as Enactus,Nritya,Exorduim,NSS,NCC, Catalysis etc

Admission

Eligibility for this Course is you have to give CUET exam in which you have to give Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Ability test compulsory. You have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology in class 12th. On the NTA site you can find the application form date, application form fees, The timing in exam matters and difficulty level of exam is moderate. For improvement in the admission process make your preferences sheet of colleges very carefully.

The faculty to student ratio is good. Their credentials and there approach to teaching and mentorship is also very good they help us a lot. Most of the teachers interact with students in very good way but some of them are very rude but in majority most of them are of very good nature

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

The faculty of this college is highly supportive. It is known for their approachable and helpful nature. They are dedicated to teaching. They create a positive environment for students. They guide the students very well and support them highly.
College has a calm and quiet environment. It is surrounded by greenery. It is located in rural area. It is away from noise of city. It helps students to focus on their studies in a stress-free environment. It provides students a peaceful learning.
College provides a good transportion. It is situated nearby a bus depot. The college has its own bus also. It makes easy for students to travel to and from the college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is worst. There is lack of proper buildings for classes. The canteen area is also not good. There is lack of complete apparatus in physics and chemistry labs. There are so many issues like broken seats and materials.
The college lacks a dedicated placement. There is limited structure support for students. Students have to secure internships and job offers through their personal efforts.
There is absence of societies and extra curricular activities. While the college has some clubs and events. The college does encourage students to engage in activities.
