Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose Russian language as my major and in university it was a good choice. Russian language is considered as one of the most difficult language, so to study this in JNU is a mindful decision where you get the experienced teachers. The exams are conducted 4 times a semester. 3 sessional and end semester exam so that students can prepare well along with studying.

Fees and Financial Aid

JNU is very much affordable for any student.it is almost free. 100 to 300 rs. per semester depending on the level of the course. There are merit based scholarships. Students have to pay the mess bill every month that fluctuates between 2500 to 3500 according to hostels. They provide the food 3 times a day with a special dinner at the end of the month.

Campus Life

4.5

The Students can take benefits of every curriculum, festival and events here. Every festival is celebrated here so that no-one miss their home when they cannot go there. Every sport, every activity and all the things are provided here.

Admission

The eligibility depends on the course and if a person study properly for the entrance the chances are very much to get admission here. The admission process is quite good you get proper help in every step.

Faculty

5

The teacher student ratio is 1 for 40. They make every student interact with each other. The are very helping. The teaching method is different of every teacher as per the need of students. Language labs, education by movies, conferences, classrooms and projectors everything is there. Student can go to the teacher at any time for any problem and query.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
