Course Curriculum Overview

3

The new NEP policy is so so hectic. previously students used to study only the subjects that they want to take further but now with this policy we have to intentionally study subjects which is no where related to our subjects. like i am pursuing psychology but with nep i am studying hindi, evs subjects like this. and talking about the timings of exam DU has the worst timings for the exam. Recently i gave my exam in this heatwave in 50 degress with they poor fans which didn't helped at all.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about Du fess it is quite good and affordable but as i am studying in ipcw they have much high fees than other colleges also fees depends upon the course you have selected the more hypes courses have more fees than other. Financial support programs are available for lower caste people.

Campus Life

3.5

overall experience is very good. you will get bundace of knowledge, so many opportunities for everything. Du life is good unless you are in a coed college, fests and all is good. A good range of books are available.

Admission

we didn't had any cut off thing because we gave our exam via CUET. so we had to give cuet exams first and our results came after that we had to choose the course we wantes to take with the colleges we want to go for.

Faculty

4

no doubt du brings good teachers and professors for the student. they are well knowledgeable, knows everything and handels everthing bery easily. they guide you very well. professors are mostly educated till PH.D and psychology teachers have past research practices.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
