Likes

The campus of Lucknow University and its greenery during rainy seasons.
Its huge and big cyber library that provides free wifi to study.
Its tagore library that is so big and have more than two lakhs books that made it so special.

Dislikes

Anyways sometimes there some violent fights and disputes happen inside campus that I really dislike.

My will to explore mathematics, physics, and chemistry beyond what I had read in my intermediate led me to get enroll in this course and it is quite relevant to our syllabus that we have read in 10+2. The curriculum does not prepare well for the real-world application. The teaching methods adopted by professors ought to be improved and made interesting and familiar. Exams are not too much difficult.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 12400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are quite high fees of Lucknow University compared with other universities in Uttar Pradesh, its fee structure is double that of the other universities. But the scholarship of the students usually comes that help them to sustain their life. There is absolutely zero campus placement for the graduate students in B.Sc. Mathematics.

Campus Life

There are so many festivals are celebrated in Lucknow university campus some of them are Holi, Diwali,Dandiya and many more and we enjoyed so much in the programs organised in the campus. The is a sports club who so ever interested in sports can apply and play. There is a Gymnasium for keeping our body and mind fresh.

Admission

When I applied for the admission for the B.Sc Mathematics in Lucknow University that year Covid-19 came and there was no entrance exam was taken and admissions were given on the merit of 10+2 score. And i found application form from the sarkari result website.

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is okay and it affects our learning experience reasonably good. The faculties approach is good but most of them teach only from notes they bring along with them and just do the rote memorisation. They are approachable whenever we need them and they have no objections in interacting with us.

Likes

The entire College campus is very beautiful
Here practical knowledge is preferred morethan other colleges
Almost Teachers are very friendly and helpful

Dislikes

Somehow basic facilities are messed up like clean washrooms in departments
Sone Departments also don't have drinking water supply for students including mine

Placement Experience:

Basically students from 5th semester become eligible for placement, there are a number of companies which are visited for placement my course doesn't offer placement but many courses like bca, bba, b pharma, biotechnology etc have good placement opportunities Opting for an msc is good for students wanting to pursue bsc zbc

Likes

The environment of campus and classes are very good.
Support of management and faculty in problem is very good.
Students and teachers bond is very good, all the facilities are very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements of university is good in every department of the university, around 5500+ placements Happened this year from my university with a good package in good companies. These were many companies visit our university for placements like, Capgemini, Infosys, Microsoft, Tata, Appollo Healthcare, Phillips, etc.

Likes

I like there teachers teaching methods and their dedication about their responsibility
I like there teachers behaviour if you can't understand what they teaches you can ask again and they will again explain you with patience
I like there laboratory where I derive conclusions by myself

Dislikes

I don't like there one aged teachers behaviour which belong to physics faculty
I don't like there lover point where students sit all day with their girls or boys
I don't like there security guards duties they did not ven check that who is entering in the college

Overall it's was average college as it is not an metropolitan city

Teachers were cooperative and so the faculty .
Very reasonable price for such courses like B.Sc , BA , B.Com

Dislikes

Infrastructure is veryyyyy bad there are proper sufficient area but no infrastructure
Very unhygienic and no amenities of basic college like potable water , hygienic sitting arrangement, broken doors and tables, no digi boards etc
There's no modern ways of learning nor electronics aids for better learning also there's no laboratory for experiment nor tools and ingredients

I had interest in chemistry & zoology so i wanted to pursue B.Sc for my graduation There were no trouble for admission & no strict rules and regulations of policies Infrastructure i would recommend them to ask authority to work on the amenities & resources and better environment with modernized methodologies of teaching with electronic aid will automatically improve the quality of education Frequency of exams were fine and it was pretty average level any average student can learn and write answers with understanding of topics

Good Faculty but not so good placement

The addmission process is very simple, you need to give JEE mains examination and then you need to participate in UPTAC counselling.
