Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This course talks about the market and how it is also the primary as well as secondary factor to make impressive decision. I think my course prepares me very well for both as it is real life course. The micro section could be improved in teaching methods , we should be given some real life experiences in while studying.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the fith semester(third year) you become eligible for placements. The placement in my college is pretty good. The highest package offered was 10 - 12 lakhs. The average package was 5-6 lakhs. Almost 80% students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees increases Rs.1000 per year. The college also provide for scholarships to students and there are some criteria to fill to get the scholarship. The campus employment rate is nice. Many reputed companies offer placement to the students and the college also conduct placement seminar time to time for better understanding.

Campus Life

4

Our fests include Reverie and Zistava which is the annual fest and diwali fest respectively. Both of them were good. I personally like Zistava. You can find a wide range of books in our college from your field to any other field you are interested in. There are plenty of groups and clubs in the college and you will be able to find your match.

Admission

The eligibility of the cousre - mathematics is compulsory in class 12 with english or hindi. Follow the NTA website for application form and dates; as the entrance exam is CUET-UG. Timing of the exam is good and it also depends on the opted papers. Difficulty depends on day to day basis.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is medium and it affect the learning environment as each student cannot get enough time for their doubts. The teachers having reputed backgrounds are more easily approachable and their teaching style is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
