Course Curriculum Overview

4

I personally choosen this college just because I wanted to have my bachelors in French, but after got admission, I noticed that not only French department also the English department is superb! Beacuse they have a unique teaching method which helps us to grab everything easily in short period of time.

Fees and Financial Aid

The complete cost of education was around 40,000 and yeah ofcourse your annual fees will get increased by some percent. There might be scholarship or financial aid available but I don't have any idea about this.

Campus Life

4

As I was a student of French, I enjoyed a lot the fests of French department "La Frantaisie" also the annual function "Prabha". Students themselves are responsible for the arrangements, performances, decorations and all. Also the library has approx. 65000 of books and if we talk about the environment, this is also quite impressive because every student quietly study. Coming to the facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms, there are projectors and screen available in most of the classes.

Admission

You can take admission by just having good score in your high school and also in CUET exam. After that you can opt this college. All the deatils of fees and date of application is available on it's website itself.

Faculty

3.5

There is no bar. You can interact with your teachers whenever you have any kind of doubt, even if it's realted to your subject or your career, they are available to guide you. Also there is a tut class for subject's doubt.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
